Mercure Ardoe House Hotel and Spa  

Attentive staff, but not enough of them in the bar/food areas in the evening

Pretentious, cheffy bar food, which was expensive and to be honest, rubbish. I saw very few people finish what they were served. I pointed it out when checking out - I was apparently not the first to complain, and without prompting, the item was removed from my bill - can't say fairer than that

Lovely room in the old part of the hotel, characterful building

Heating in old part not very good (new wing much better)

No complaint for price paid, but hotel is past it's peak with torn carpeting and slightly run down.

Nice pool and fitness suite.

Ground floor room with gardeners constantly walking by meant I had to keep curtains shut most of the time. Rolls at dinner in the 'bar' were terrible.

Appearance of the hotel and spa facilities.Room size and superb grounds.

Noisy,wedding receptions kept us awake till the small hours.Windows in room difficult to open and right hand one fell out when I tried to open it.

Evening Meal & Cocktail Bar

Steam room was out of order. Gym / changing facilities were a little tired.

Wood fire in breakfast lounge.

Standard of food - almost everything is microwaved.

When in Aberdeen i always stay at this hotel because of the location and good food

the spa

since change of management quality of hotel is much less tha it used to be which is a shame.

Ruhige Lage

Abbiamo avuto difficoltà nel trovare l'albergo per la scarsa indicazione stradale della struttura.

Situato in un bel parco ed in un edificio di fine '800.Immerso nella campagna anche se a solo 5 minuti di auto da Aberdeen.

Grande albergo utilizzato per numerose cerimonie (3 in contemporanea durante il nostro soggiorno) con I relativi disagi (a cena con solo 5 tavoli occupati abbiamo atteso il dessert per oltre 45 minuti).
