Hotel was clean.
Did not find staff at all friendly. Breakfast was very poor perhaps this was just a bad day Parking facilities were not like the desription
Staff very friendly and helpful -Nothing was too much bother.
Room was very dusty -windowsill and lampshades were worst but dust on drawers and all work surfaces. Bathroom was clean though so perhaps a quick turnaround in hope that guests wouldn't notice??????
Liked the rooms and it was ideal right next to the station
Check out was bit too early
Staff, room, breakfast. We where guided to our table at breakfast given a tour of what was where and before we thought about it there was someone there to take our order, and before we where back the coffee was served.
Coffee could be stronger. But I think that would have been arranged if we asked for it.
Good room, comfy king size bed and views over city. Breakfast good value
Did not deliver on upgrade deal re free newspaper both days, offered a walk in double shower, got a single with slightly larger cubicle, shower head loose and maintenance staff failed to turn up to fix, selection of coffee pods, got 3 for 2 people. Wifi hard to login too for those not fully computer illiterate
The big open windows are the focal points in the rooms and ooze class and make this hotel stand out in comparison to other equally priced hotels. Would highly recommend staying here!
When we came in to go to bed we asked at reception for check out times and they clearly stated while its saturday we can stay until 12. Alarm set for 11.25 only to be woken by phonecall at 1110 stating we needed to vacate the room.
Hotel rooms very good
Breakfast was poor.
Executive suite was a bargain, spacious, very clean and tidy.
Carpets could do with an upgrade.
Had a fab time staff could not have been more helpful Room was a good size Bath room had a good size shower would stay again if in manchester
Don't think that you should have to pay to use hotel car park
Location was brilliant and breakfast was well worth it!
£30 per person to use the spa facilities was a joke-misleading as nowhere on this website or the hotel mentions that! There is absolutely no reason behind charging at the weekend other than a ruse to make more money at an already expensive hotel! This put a dampner in the stay!
Lack of parking Air conditioning! Confusing Bill at checkout
Nice hotel, restaurant was nice and staff very friendly. Rooms lovely
Bar service is so slow on each occasion I've visited. Doors slamming shut frequently disrupted sleep at 2am! Not sure why people crashing about at that time but in fairness to them the only way to close the doors is to bang them shut!
Loved the rooms and bathroom
We were up on the 5 th floor at the very end of a corrudor
Poor air con in bedrooms Very poor lighting for both working on laptop and applying makeup
Staff were polite, room was comfortable and clean.
We were not shown to our room. There was no remote control in the room so we were unable to put the television on and, after calling reception, it was half an hour before a remote control was brought up. We ordered a "fresh, warm" chocolate brownie from room service but this was neither fresh nor warm, and was very expensive. The food items set out for the buffet breakfast seemed to have been sitting for some time. The hotel car park costs £20 for guests to park for one night and is too small. The hotel is right next to a very busy road and this was noisy.
Breakfast lovely and staff nice
A bit out of the centre
the staff were very helpful and I partically liked the anniversary card from the staff. Wonderful to have a shower and a bath in the bathroom
There are no toilets near to the bar Had booked a room near to the lift and didn`t get it
Friendly staff, as we got to room, a plate with 2 littlest cakes and happy birthday iced onto it was waiting with a birthday card, this was a nice touch, as we were asked on check in what our plans were in manchester and we mentioned it was for birthday celebrations.
Tea and coffee in the bar as expensive as alcoholic drink. £4.55 for a cup of tea!!!
Beautiful bedding Excellent location Great view
Cold room. Heating control could only be adjusted by reception who were too busy to do this until I physically arrived at the desk. Happened on both days of my stay. Toiletries for one when two staying. TV audio only working in bathroom. could not work in both bedroom and bathroom.
The rooms were very clean and modern. Bathroom is massive and the hotel is in a good location.
We upgraded our room at an extra cost but was disappointed as there isn't much difference in the classic rooms to the executive rooms. Therefore didn't think it was good value for money as the rooms are pricey anyway.
Size of bedroom and bathroom.
Size of TV. Much too small for the size of the room. A trouser press would have been helpful.
Plus points were: Very handy for Picadilly train/tram sta Close to city centre Excellent breakfast Everyone helpful Good atmosphere Spacious, clean rooms
Breakfast a bit expensive (£19.50)
Very close to rail station. Room was spacious
Took an unbelievable amount of time to get food in the restaurant, despite it being practically empty. Including an over 20 minute wait for some ice cream - something that it takes 2 minutes to scoop and serve. In the end had to leave without it.
Had to request Room Service Menu twice. Room service food was very poor. £45 for 2 sandwiches, 2 portions of chips, lager and wine. No bottle opener sent up with lager and wrong wine which was a lot more expensive. Hot sandwich and chips stone cold and waited a long time. Sent back and got refund. Upgraded to Executive room and no bath robes or slippers. Additional money was taken out of my account when I'd left without authorisation.
Great sized rooms, twin room perfect for my friend and I sharing.
Bar in the evening didn't have enough staff to cater all guests wanting drinks.
