Good side room - great staff - pleasant location
Very limited time for children in the pool, bar menu so expensive we ate elsewhere
The staff were very professional and extremely polite and courteous. Well done.
The setting was great, handy to local restaurants and supermarkets.
Lack of air conditioning. This affected the quality of the sleep far to hot!!
Quiet room once it was ready.
Despite checking in later than 3pm the room was not ready we waited till about 5pm for the child,s bed to arrive,l had to ask 3 times for the bottled water.Despite booking for a twin room with rollerway bed the room was only ready for 2 people l actually felt that we were being treated as if we were on a cheap deal
My dad is elderly, the room was in a perfect spot for him, not too much walking. The staff were absolutely excellent and very friendly. The food was top notch. Very relaxed visit
Found the protective covers on mattress and pillows uncomfortable...too hot and uncomfortable. Wish there was another way!
Fantastic location with terrific views, beautiful large room with balcony, excellent cuisine. Staff very friendly and obliging.
Layout of rooms to public areas, staff were very helpful, courteous and engaging. The Duty manager was very supportive and helped to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
It was a very busy weekend, Car Fest was on nearby and the restaurant was a little slow between courses and little things like drinks took about 10 minutes to come to table. Nothing critical!
Location and grounds are fantastic, even for a non golfer. Food is excellently prepared and very good quality (only ate in bar, other than breakfasts).
Prices of drinks (but probably comparable with other hotels of this quality). Well furnished and good sized room was let down by broken light bulbs in two lamps, and a slight 'musty' smell (but it was very clean.)
Lovely place to stay and friendly staff.
Price of drinks
I don't play golf, but the entire place is beautiful. Very clean, neat and just a nice place.
Location, comfort and staff all very good
Extras were very expensive. £10 for glass of wine at the bar £17.50 for breakfast ( no cheaper continental option) Charging for wifi just rubs it in
hotel selected as matter of necessity due to a friends wedding in the area.
Faulty towers but worse. Room was in a state of disrepair with the shower head held on with a jubilee clip and some sealant tape!.. Breakfast served cold and bearing no resemblance to what was ordered. Juice was so off it was fizzy. Lunch, sat for an hour in which not even the drinks came so gave up. Staff were definitely not set up for success!... £500 for a two night stay in something not even on par with a travel lodge?... Ridiculous.
Very pleasant and friendly maids. Also the views of the golf course were nice. The reception staff were informative but did repeated themselves several times..
The rooms are quite old fashioned. The spa facilities werent the best, quite un inviting and limited. Also spa staff weren't the most helpful nor the most friendliest as we felt we were inturupting their break. The restaurant was disappointing as it was a limited menu and even at a 630pm sitting they had ran out on some of the opinions.
Good location. Comfortable rooms. Pleasant helpful staff.
Speed hump at the entrance to the shared car-park caused contact damage to the underside of my (admittedly very low) car while being traversed at 1mph both on entry and exit. Humps don't need to be so high or long from front to back. Members of one of the golf groups made excessive noise in the corridor late at night. The disturbance included considerable use of foul language.
Clean Good location
Wifi only worked in lobby. Wifi in rooms was chargeable. Breakfast at GBP 17.50 per person is very expensive. Food in the bar was not great.
Stunning location / grounds. Great leisure facilities and the golf course was great and good value for money. Overall a great stay with nice staff.
Free Wifi only available in the lobby; there was a 3 pound credit card charge which I have never come across before. The actual hotel building from the outside is 'ok' to look at (I am being picky), certainly doesn't match the location / grounds.
Facilities (spa & golf courses) were of a high standard.
It was not a good hotel to bring young children to (which we had). Also the restaurant was very over-priced for the food served, which was only average.
Comfortable hotel, very good bathroom. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Good facilities, good food.
The noise from other guests. I was woken up three times during the night. My room was on the car park side close to reception. Try and get a room on the other side of the car park to avoid a disrupted night's sleep. People arriving late were very loud.
Comfortable and spacious rooms, with good facilities. Breakfast was good, good selection and tasty. Room service food once it arrived was tasty, but small portions for the price. Restaurant staff friendly and helpful.
Room service was very late, took over an hour, we had to chase up 3 times, and they forgot to bring the drinks. Staff were rude and brusque. Check in and out was painfully slow, staff were a bit snooty and not very on the ball - we were travelling with a small child trying to sort out dinner at 8pm, and they didn't think to tell us at check in that we could order room service!
Very nice rooms Great breakfast
Charge for wi-fi Charge for using credit card
lovely hotel stunning views - great facilities and breakfast with helpful staff - would return.
wifi only works on certain parts of the hotel
Liked the location and setting and the food was delicious
Staff where, not attentive, appeared aloof and not very proffestional
Location golf course Spa Parking
Restaurant - mix of cooking smell, spa smell, pool smell We preferred bog to even try Internet service was very poor Cell coverage very poor
