I have stayed here a few times with my husband, the hotel is in a great location for shopping trips and international rugby weekends. Rooms are very spacious clean and comfortable, My friends from work who were with me on my last visit were very impressed with the hotel and it's standards. Thank you.

Good swimming pool and Spa. Good position and good rooms (panoramic). Good staff: kind and helpful. Good bar. The breakfast staff was not able to prepare a Cappucino for our breakfast, so my wife had only small croissant but she had to pay for the entire breakfast (that was not included with our room). The parking on site was not always available and was not clear if places were available or not. Wi-fi connection was not available at our floor.

Very helpful staff. Large comfortable room, well equipped gym and nice sauna/ steam room/ pool facilities. Convenient for centre of Cardiff and the university. Sound insulation was not great - I was in Cardiff for the weekend on a course and was woken by drunk women in the corridor in the early hours of Saturday night. This only happened once.

An excellent Hotel and have stayed there many times. Staff are friendly and Hotel facilities are very good. A great breakfast that keeps you going well until tea time. Hotel undergound secure parking very limited and not free and difficult to find, ie not signposted until you at the undergound car park after going around the back of other buildings.

The whole hotel was of a really high quality. The facilities were very posh and the room was gorgeous with an amazing view. Staff were friendly and despite the city centre location it was cheaper than other hotels I looked at! No complaints whatsoever. Lovely stay.

Spacious room with a fantastic view. Comfortable, big bed. Good spa facilities. 5 mins walk to shopping area. Friendly reception and room service. Hotel wasn't aware that the package booked with 'booking.com' included bathrobes/slippers/chocolates/toiletries upgrade/stocked mini-bar. After showing them our booking confirmation (they wouldn't take my word for it so I had to take it down to reception), dressing gowns and mini-bar were arranged in reasonable time. It took a second call and a while longer to arrange the slippers, and a third call to arrange the chocolate - which was a joke when it arrived...a Kit Kat (between two!). We gave uo with the toiletries upgrade as we were getting nowhere with the staff. The tea/coffee facilities were lacking...no Tea. When it arrived it was Earl Grey only so we asked again next morning and got some good old Tetleys Tbags!

I was not given the type of room booked in that I booked a room with a settee. Items found under the chairs revealed that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Toiletries and towels were set out for a single traveller and not a couple as booked. A large curtain on the window was hanging off and could not be pulled letting in light and a complete lack of privacy in that part of the room. I had enjoyed a previous stay but on this occasion I was very disappointed.

I loved the location of hotel, very convenient and easy to get to. I loved the room, city view and large windows.. Loved that the room has both bath and seperate shower. It was bright, comfortable, felt luxurious but price was fantastic value.. The pool, sauna etc were a real bonus and lovely to use.. Found the staff exceptionally helpful especially Charles/Charlie on reception.. Have recommended it to several family and friends and am hoping to go back and stay again myself.

The location and accessibility. Secure care parking. Quality of food considering the price. The staff are really really good in terms of courtesy, helpfulness, knowledge, friendliness and they were very obliging. Usually I have difficulty sleeping in a strange room at least on the first night. However the bed was really comfortable. I can't speak highly enough Exit from the car park was never smooth! The card was always rejected and I had to press the button for assistance

Location and facilities with underground parking. Rooms were spacious and well appointed, beds very comfortable. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Perfect for a city break in the centre of Cardiff Room was cold even after adjusting thermostat, lighting poor.

Convenient, good value. Very pleasant staff. Room looked dingy because the light didn't work over the entrance door. This would have been a h+s issue for someone with impaired vision. This was reported but not put right. Room 409 Cardiff, Newport Road

Spa, swimming pool really nice. Warm water in the pool comfortable for swimming in cold weathet. Quite a lot of people in the evening but it didn't interfere enjoyment of the spa at all. Warm atmosphere of the hotel. Good breakfast. Good value for money. Really nice and Spacious room bigger or the same size as in five star hotels with large windows and city view. 10 minute walk to central railway station, less than 5 to the center and the castle. Lots of floors and people, maybe not good for those who like small hotels

Yet again another fabulous stay. The best Hotel by far in Cardiff for comfort, the bathrooms are spacious, everything is in the right place. Even the car parking is so convenient. Will be back same time next year. Thanks to all the staff.

Executive rooms have plenty of space along with superb views of the city. The Spa is perfect for relaxing after a day shopping or before going out for the night. A minor niggle, not all freeview channels are available on the in- room tv sets.
