Lovely big rooms, friendly staff very relaxed atmosphere, fantastic breakfast. Ceiling fan in the room. Room 101 does not have a way to get plug out of the sink without reaching round the back of the sink, very strange! also when having a shower water leaked out all over the floor from the seal where the glass screen and bath meet. Was no hot water at 1:30 am for a shower after all day out in London in the hot weather which was disappointing but apart from that everything was fine. |

Friendly, helpful staff - felt welcome immediately. Great attention to detail - toiletries replaced when used up and a plentiful supply of fair trade tea and coffee. A great hotel in a perfect location. |

We had stayed at Sanctuary House previously and found the Mad Hatter to be of the same standard. Good location, reasonable price and very nice, helpful staff. The price for breakfast is a little excessive, however, although this seems to be the norm for hotals in London. The pub is great! |

Excellent location, everything we wanted within walking distance. Room on 3rd floor very quiet, no street noise at all. Hotel feels separate from the pub on the ground floor, as it should. Good value compared with what else is available, but London accommodation's not cheap. Pub itself is good and lively. A relatively minor point really, but fried breakfast was slightly disappointing. Bacon and black pudding tasted like they'd been cooked an hour earlier and kept warm, while sausages were not very tasty. however eggs were fresh and nice, which can often be a failing. Don't let this put you off though, overall the hotel it was good value. |

Did not stay long enough to find out. We expected the double room to have a double bed instead of the 2 single beds we had. |

Everyone was very helpful. Very friendly staff. Liked that the hotel is small. The free breakfasts were nice! Wish the cable for TV was better. Channels went out a lot. |

Location was good, rooms tidy and the atmosphere nice and traditionally english. Food was nice, rooms quiet. Breakfast was a bit confusing, I would have hoped for the staff to be more aware of customers at that busy time. Also, the reservation/authorization fee of 300 pounds should have been made clearer beforehand, so I could have upgraded my visa limit. Now I ran out of credit in the middle of the trip, which wasnt nice at all. |
