Very nice room; excellent restaurant and pub; very friendly staff; located 10 min footway of center, Waterloo Station, Thames etc; fair prices compared with other facilities in this location some regular noise of technical equipment (hydraulic pump or water tubes ???) near rooms 101, 201 and 301 - but we got used to it quickly and it wasn't a real ,,don't like" |

The food and ale on offer in the bar were of great quality. The pub has fine style to it. The room overall was more than comfortable to satisfy most needs. The location is good for the walks, sights and transports links in affords. The room was comfortable, although the en suit could have been just a tad better in style, comfort and cleanliness. The TV in the room was a CRT offering poor quality, being fed a poor signal from a very narrow selection TV and radio stations |

Allocated a very spacious room, huge bed, and lovely bathroom. Although city location, and above a pub, it was surprisingly quiet and restful |

Very good location in the south east of London between Tower of London and Westminster and not quite as congested as other areas of London. Nice hotel with a very nice pub attached for dinners. Best choice I've had in London. |

Convenient for The Embankment and The Globe within short walking distance. Character atmosphere of old established pub rather than the modern anonimity of big hotel chains. Good sized room. Lift. Corridors country house style. Good choice of varied breakfast. Pleasant, helpful staff. Taxis always available. Able to leave luggage in reception. No air conditioning for hot weather, fans provided. Left luggage area limited and could be more secure. Road crossing needed immediately outside hotel. |

The staff was very friendly and helpful, our room (at the back of the hotel) was reasonably quiet for London and a good size. |

Breakfasts were ample. Proximity to local attractions made walking a viable option. Quiet, even given its location. Control of smokers / smoke. No teletext in bedrooms. |

It was quiet despite being in London. Loved the joined fullers pub and comfy sofas. Room was very clean with all the usual facilities The towels were a bit thin and rough. Could have done with being replaced |

As above the hotel rfacilities and friendliness of the staff together with the excellent location - close to and easy walking distance from al the main central London attractions; as well as a good bar/restaurant in the hotel (and excellent prices) easy walking distance from very posh oxo tower restaurants and more modest taverna type restaurants. 40 minutes from Hampton Court via Waterloo. A monir irritation was the bathroom door which did not open as widely as it should which is a bit of an incovenience for fat geriatrics. |

Location - easy access by train / underground, easy walking to many London sites, near the river ... great for strolling. It was hot in London this summer, no air conditioning. |

Lovely big rooms, friendly staff very relaxed atmosphere, fantastic breakfast. Ceiling fan in the room. Room 101 does not have a way to get plug out of the sink without reaching round the back of the sink, very strange! also when having a shower water leaked out all over the floor from the seal where the glass screen and bath meet. Was no hot water at 1:30 am for a shower after all day out in London in the hot weather which was disappointing but apart from that everything was fine. |
