If you are looking for a Premier Inn type Hotel this will not fit the bill. However if you are looking for a more relaxed, informal and casual approach to life this may suit you. Once through the door you could be in a Mediterranean country. The staff are so relaxed and there is no formality. The room I had was large and reasonably furnished and the bed comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff polite.
The approach to the hotel was a bit untidy and the parking I had was on the drive of an adjoining property. I also didn't like the squeaky floor boards from the room above. The property did have a bit of a run down appearance.
Friendly staff and owner Pets for the kids (parrot, hares) Extravagant hotel design (owner-designed)
Clean large room and good value
Don't like stairs
Most important,,,Comfi. clean beds Good location Friendly staff Lovely garden
Every thing was perfect
The room was ok
The hotel bar had nothing available when asked about an evening meal was informed only had lasagne one choice of meal is not really good out of 10 we would only give it a 1 very disappointing
Camera on car Cautious staff Could sell more like food if they made some effort.
Noise from outside and in Noisy nieghbour going at it all night. The excessive tiling and poor finishing leads to rough surface dirt collecting edges but what could be cleaned was.
Clean room, good shower,
Scruffy first impression
The Parrot in the cage
Lack of Food, Television that did not work, Hospitality
Not a thing
The place was so dirty and I'm amased that they are alowed to trade as a hotel it's the worst Iv seen it was that bad I wouldn't even use the shower .
Sink and bed are the best bits
Curtains didn't fit, generaly needs some up dating and repair. Dangerous looking electric socket behind bed.
A great basic hotel ideally situated for my visit. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Great value for money.
The key did not fit the room properly & I struggled to get it open. The room was bare less for the bed and chest of draws. No chairs or sofas. The room have some sort of laminate on the floor and looked cold. I found and extention lead behind the chest off draws and the room would be heated in winter by a removable oil heater. The ambience was that of run down. It is a converted large house and a poor conversion. Beak fast was not served till 7 am. I needed to be away by then so for a weekday this is to late. Parking is very limited on the front and you would need to remove all you valuables as you are literally 2 foot from the public pathway. All in all I would ask for a refund. Very poor.
We couldn't open window because the chimney's smoke, and it was the only small window in the attic room.
When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely man. He was so helpful giving us tips on how to easily travel to Wembley arena and then helped us to carry our bags. Rooms were huge bright and clean. The hotel has a amazing garden area with water feature and it feels like your in Spain with the sun shining and the ceramic decorations. Real good value for money within walking distance to the train station an three stops from Wembley arena..will be staying again.
Character hotel which surprises when you walk through the door. Parking on the front of the hotel but genuine and exists, not the case with many London hotels. Staff friendly and relaxed, would stay again.
Room was a bit basic but reflected in the price, good value for in the tube network
They should not be allowed to offer the room we got, because it was a top floor room and there was only Windows at the one side. The big problem was, that only 30 cm from the Windows was the chimney, where there come Black smoke out all the time. It was terrible and impossible to stay at the room.
The location is great. There's a great city center with a lot of wonderful restaurants and take away places. There's a tube station very close as well. We stayed here as we had reservations on the Eurostar and this is 10 minute drive from the Piccadilly line.
Parking is a pain. There was a smoke stack type vent hose right next to our window which made our room in red only hot and smokey smelling. Our friends had a room on the 2nd floor and it was cool with a great breeze. Ours was not. A fan would of been great
friendly staff, good atmosphere
continental breakfast was terrible
The room decor
The reception is always locked and no codes provided, so each time you go in and out you must ring a bell, it takes a while to be answered and makes you feel like you are disturbing people all the time and is not welcoming. Although one man seemed very nice There didn't seem to be many staff about and its not clear where you can go and can't go, whether you can even buy a drink. Would not stay again, high price too.
staff especially Chris the manager were brilliant so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be booking again.
Did not get wifi code. A child without internet access makes for an irritable child haha.
friendly staff, easy location comfortable beds and bedding and one nice view from room, unusual architecture, interesting building
parking seemed a bit unsafe and scruffy area to leave car in, painted wiring did not look safe, we were not offered breakfast or a meal so we did not know what was available
Excellent for what we wanted as needed somewhere close to Wembley as went to the Froch fight. Chris is a top fella & also gave us a guided tour of the plans etc for what's happening to the hotel in the future. Stunning decor outside with some great touches inside. Chris's & his families hospitality was excellent.I recommend this hotel for a great family run business that know how to look after their guests
Ideal for commuting to/from with minimum fuss.
Wifi didn't work as we were upstairs.
The location is good for sporting events at wembley Stadium.
The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The room had a strong smell of the drains. The bed mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. The carpets were worn. There was complimentary parking, however, this was in the drive of next door's property. Overall, a poor experience. I wish I'd have paid more and stayed elsewhere.
