everything! Totally disappointment. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
i like that i was in a very good position for walks
the parking and the noice from other rooms
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the hotel is very clean lovely food and friendly staff. You get what you pay for. Great location close to pubs restaurants shops and beach :-) would highly recommend for anyone looking for budget accommodation.
It was walking distance to the BIC
We had dirty blankets on the bed, the kettle didn't fit it's base so we couldn't make a drink, there was no hot water in the basin or the shower. It wasn't even warm!!
Very run down and poor quality room Breakfast very average Staff not really interested
room was clean and tidy
no hot water at all in the morning. didnt sleep as too much noise from neighbouring rooms - creaky floors, stag party, doors opening and closing, lift doors opening and closing
The room was spacious and very clean, plenty of wardrobe space. Friendly staff.Nice breakfast.
Value for money staff were friendly Bed was confortable
Was put in one of the worst rooms in the hotel right at the top Sink had a huge leak pooring out Switch on the bathroom light and the fan made a drilling noise for about half hour after not even using it Shower was half of my body size Lots of noise from other rooms like foot steps, shaky woodwork and conversations
room tiny and smelt. breakfast 45 mins late 2 days running. bathroom floor not cleaned since builders. public areas filthy. dining room chairs dirty every day. insufficient furniture in room
the smell in the corridors intermittent Wi-Fi dirty walls 'free for all' breakfast the place just seemed to be a cash cow - management weren't concerned about your comfort at all
Not many except the breakfast
The shower didnt work, the tv didnt have proper signal, the noises at night from drunk people, the room was stink, the beds werent comfortable.I 100% wont recommend to my family and friends maybe just for my enemies:)
room and bathroom were clean, staff was friendly, we had a good breakfast - well cooked, many choices. It has a good position, very close to the seafront
We reserved 2 twin bedrooms, when we arrived we found out they only had 1 room with 4 beds. They say they're going to partially refund me...I don't know. The room had no coat hanger, furniture was non-existent; TV was not working, they installed a new shower gear but only the old one is working. We had just 2 towels, they brought me one and then I had to ask again for the fourth. We had a room next to the sidewalk, with very large bow-window; the curtains could not block the light coming from the street, so when I switched off the room light, it was not dark at all.
The staff were particularly friendly, any minor complaint was addressed straight away with a ready and most acceptable solution. It's not fair to compare this with a four/five star hotel which might cost four to five times as much. We will always stay at The Maemar when in the area, they deserve loyalty from satisfied customers!
Except for the wifi everything!!
Location was good for us.
Bed had wood under the mattress. Door lock was broken on arrival. Wifi signal in the room was not go enough and kept dropping out.
The lack of cleanliness Full of students Breakfast only served til 830am Bar did not open
everything, we have been in touch with your office and they are looking into it, as we sent photo's of how poor everything was, a very disappointing few days, especially as it was a special birthday for myself
Breakfast was good
location Price Excellant breakfast
might be problem with parking mess in garden
Nothing. Will not be staying there ever again.
Hotel door was locked at 6pm & could not get in. No staff on reception, waited 15 minutes & then had to phone them. Cases left in dining room, while children were having their dinner. Workmen plastering the wall in the corridor out side our room, so had to wheel case through the plaster. Hundreds of school children staying, & being nosey all night. lucky we only stayed one night. It is the hotel from hell & should be shut down.
Comfortable room and beds. close to shops, pubs, restaurants and sea front.
Had to leave the key at reception when going out and collect it on return
close to beach
Wall sockets and lights hanging off. Would take me to long to list all what was wrong. I had trading standards told of the room we stayed in. It was a death trap. Kids could have easily been electricuted
Bed was comfortable and clean, location was good
Bathroom falling to pieces
This hotel is close to town, the beach, the BIC and has everything you need for a great value night out! Breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet. Enjoyed our stay!
The lift was small and often didn't work properly.
