Where do you start! A fabulous package, great location, sumptuous accommodation, clean, comfortable. The hosts, Mark and Karen do a wonderful job of making your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Fantastic cuisine at the breakfast table. Highly recommended
Extraordinary house and grounds. A bit difficult to find at first, but handy for Lampeter and the coast. Mark was the perfect host, and the room was huge and stunning. We would certainly recommend Maesycrugaiu to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
A wonderful location in a building that could be part of The National Trust properties! Very peaceful surroundings. We received a very warm welcome and Mark is a superb cook. His breakfasts were exquisite. The bedroom and bathroom are very comfortable. "Large" is an understatement here. Karen has given attention to every small detail. We would love to return in the near future.
Nothing we disliked.
This bed and breakfast exceeded all of our expectations. The house itself has been restored with amazing attention to detail and the resulting ambience is truly wonderful. The food provided was of a high degree of quality and sophistication and was prepared and presented in a manner I have seldom experienced. If you enjoy accommodations which offer both a wonderful experience and exquisite service this is for you. The suites are palatial and the rural setting could not be more perfect. Do not miss this one....
There is nothing I disliked.
A BAR ,AND PERHAPS A RESTUARANT

Fabulous host, excellent breakfast, beautiful location and grounds
Very helpful friendly hosts who provided excellent accommodation in a lovely château style building with the owners passion for classical arts & music a prominent feature through-out whilst complimenting the unique charm & character of the setting .Along with the attention to detail in the surrounding gardens a first class experience.would not hesitate recommending to others.
The owners' caring nature. The ambience of the property. The exciting breakfast choices. The delightful suite. The walk in the grounds. The dining room and the sitting room.
Incredibly comfortable and peaceful. Mark's breakfasts are delicious and he was also able to describe the area and recommend places to visit. A really wonderful place to stay.
Everything, beautiful setting, excellent breakfast.
Nothing, wish I could have stayed longer
Everything you would expect...and even more!
It is impossible to say anything bad about this superb hotel. The hosts are incredibly interesting and welcoming people; the building and grounds are beautiful; the rooms are exceptionally large and very tastefully decorated; the breakfast is unique and tastes fabulous, and the recommendations of Mark of where to eat and what to see were spot on. The value for money here is amazing - you'd be foolish not to take the opportunity to stay here.
Beautiful house, comfortable and quiet, with excellent breakfasts and attentive host. The homemade tea-time treat was very welcome on arriving back after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.
If you want to experience opulence then this is the place to visit.
The hospitality of Mark the owner was second to none. There was a warm welcome and the manor was a beautiful restoration project of a former stately home. The rooms where comfortable and spacious. The grounds where enjoyable to wonder through. Mark had obviously researched the local area and was a fount of information and suggestions. Breakfast was a real treat. All in all a very interesting, and relaxing stay. We will certainly visit again, hopefully for longer next time.
We could not fault anything. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The host Mark was very accommodating, informative and made the best breakfast (Belgium waffles). Even in rain this place looked beautiful. It's very peaceful and scenery is fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. We will be definitely back. Recommendation - Talardd Arms pub (about 20 min walk) has a great atmosphere, good food and very friendly owners. Worth going there in the evening.
Beautiful room, lovely part of Wales (a bit secluded, but amazing scenery, friendly locals), excellent breakfast.
We only stayed for one day - needed more time to explore!
Lovely quite setting and a very nice feeling of a home ,Mark was very accomadating with all our needs and was very informative about the area ,big rooms and great shower , Breakfast was lovely something for everyone ,will stay there again ,
A bit hard to find ,no Internet service ,sat nav kept cutting off ,
Excellent personal service, nothing was too much trouble. Superb breakfast - cooked to perfection and served in a wonderful dining hall, complete with open fire.
No wifi or phone signal but that's minor.
Beautiful setting, lovely suite, especially the magic bathroom. Mark is an excellent host, with great attention to detail.
Stayed for 2 nights from the 4-6 May 2014,-O.M.G;- O is for Opulence,M is for Memorable,G is foe Gorgeous. This wonderful peaceful/tranquil Welsh Gem is a B&B MUST!!! It has the WOW factor from start to finish. The drive up the Manor within the picturesque setting. The wonderful hosts Helen & Mark welcome you to their Manor. The Manor is full of opulent grandeur and the attention to detail from the grand entrance hallway through to each room and then onto our William Morris bedroom is down to Helen. The initial warm welcome made by the hosts and the individual welcoming gestures, such as afternoon Tea with home made welsh cakes in their magnificent lounge, right through to the chocolates and cakes in our rooms to have with your hot/cold drinks made our stay even more welcoming. The breakfasts were unique whereby the host Mark cooked a choice of Belgian breakfasts to which were cooked to perfection & very delicious. We were looking for tranquil, retreat and found it in this amazing Manor, to which the hosts help to make this little welsh gem a WOW factor. We will definitely being going back and recommend it to every one,its excellent value for money. Thanks Mark,Helen and your Son for making our stay a special one.
A quiet tranquil place with great views lots of wildlife about the grounds a great place to relax and let the world go by.
A lovely experience the owner was a delight the food was beautiful a true gem
