Mahons hotel was a lovely family run hotel in quiet irvinestown. I stayed there with my mother for a night. We ate in the bar and the menu was very extensive and I ordered the steak and my mother had loin of pork. Both were absolutely beautiful and the portion was quite big. We both had a great nights sleep and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and lots of it as well. The staff were very helpful and welcoming..... I would have no hesitation in recommending Mahons Hotel to any of my family or friends. I would like to go back at some point!!! Thank you for the lovely experience....

Atmosphere, Staff, Food.

We arrived on Monday afternoon for a 3 night stay to a very warm welcome when checking in. The lady told us all we needed to know about the hotel. Our room was both spacious & immaculate and the bed was huge and comfortable. We ate every day at the hotel as there was a great choice of food and it was full of flavour, portions were generous and it was very reasonably priced. The hotel has a lovely warm family feel and the owner Joe and his staff are exceptional. Cant wait to visit again thanks for a lovely relaxing break.

The room had all the facilities we required and it was central in the town and close to all the shops and bars.

Friendly,helpful staff. Homemade scones and shortbreads. Lively bar atmosphere with live bands.

Nothing really stood out about the hotel other than the crazy price they charge for a room. We were lucky and got one of the new rooms - my two friends got one of the old ones and was definitely NOT worth what they paid.

High price for room.

Where do i start!!! The atmosphere was great, the food fabulous, the staff very friendly will go that xtra mile to help. I needed a dentist and Joyce had me booked into one within the hour. The room was spacious and clean. They had all the information about what was happening around the area.. My husband and I are travelling from Melbourne for 3 months and have stayed in quite a few places and we would definately go back and stay here.
