Very helpful staff particularly Joe Mahon who gave my 91 year Father in Law lots of details about the history of the Catalina aircraft in the area and details of a museum that we weren't aware of. Joe is rightly very proud of his family hotel. Car park area was a little disappointing, spoilt the high standards of the rest of the hotel.

Just fantastic to go to a family run hotel where the family actually run the hotel! This hotel is full of character and characters and it is so nice to visit a hotel that has a character all of its own. The family and staff were all very helpful attentive and friendly and there is not one thing I would change to make it better. Brilliantly situated to see the beautiful sights of fermanagh lakeland

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and high standard of cleanliness in room. Would highly recommend to others. All areas of Hotel on the cold side, especially the bar - nearly asked for a blanket there!

The outstanding element of staying here are the people - extremely friendly and welcoming in a completely genuine way. Every single member of staff was attentive and helpful in a relaxed and realistic way. The combination of traditional Irish type bar and lounge area complete with artefacts blends very well with the more modern dining and accomodation areas. This is an excellent place for a busy business traveller to relax in and enjoy first class food combined with being made to feel "at home". The value for money is excellent and I will certainly be using it again.

Very friendly staff and excellent food. Had a meal in the bar and were offered more chips etc. We had to leave early the next morning and had no time for breakfast even though it was included in the price. They kindly let us take some breakfast away for the children to eat.

At Mahon`s,you get that wonderful Irish welcome,I wish I could find a complaint but would struggle, ate both at breakfast and dinner and after their breakfast not much needed untill dinner, then after their dinner the same, and very well cooked. The young girls at breakfast with their beautiful smiles could do no more all freshly cooked. The evening more off the same quick and personal service, plus the bill put on my room number The room was big plenty of space and bathroom the same with a power shower. So if you want an Irish welcome experiance, look no futher than Mahon`,though diet starts as soonas you leave. I had booked as a twin room, but it started out as a double,I was traveling with my 21 year old daughter, for us we found amusing, but others may not, can you check your comunications with hotels you deal with as Mahon`s said they knew no differant, sadly the room was cold and it took 36 hours to really get warm and comfortable heat, the cleaning was ok but not up to the standards of I feel mahon`s would like, bathroom just attention to details around back of the toilet and the fan, plus there is some cracks about espically the one in the bathroom which was intresting and maybe some more milk pots, they gaves us plenty of coffee and tea,but only four small pots of milk but I just nipped out and bought some

Staff were all very friendly and we were made very welcome, and comfortable. The smell of cigarette smoke in the landing! There were no kippers available for breakfast, as was stated on the menu, but the fry was excellent.(I am not really complaining, and will return to Mahon's Hotel)

Staff were very polite and efficient First time I've ever had to sleep in my car. Rooms are directly above a function hall. Perfect for a "lively night out" but not if you actually need to sleep in you "hotel" room.
