There was a party in the hotel until midnight which we weren't told about in advance, and they knew we were staying with 2 small children. |

Fishbowl at reception desk, nice reception staff Too expensive..£100 per night for what?..unattended reception desk overnight ..slept in the lounge overnight when locked myself out (not from my room, which I left open, but intermediate door closed)..no answer on emergency help number overnight..charging my card without consultation after left an angry note at reception complaining..ignoring my Do Not Disturb sign to deliver said note by a woman with a bad attitude.. breakfast in room took 1 hour first day and 2 hours second (after calls to remind)..room not cleaned on 2 days when left Room Service sign out..used breakfast trays left in the room, still there when returned at night..shower weak..toilet faulty..no movies on TV..no tissues in room..Raid the Larder stodgy cakes..nothing fresh |

It was only a very short stay but the room was lovely - small yet bright and fresh, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were very nice. |

very quiet room too warm , kept awake by barking dog as had to leave window open , room very small for price , coffee/tea not avail in room didn't want to get dressed just to get drink from hallway! |

The staff were very friendly and the reception was welcoming and clean. Good car parking facilities. Lovely garden and grounds. Rooms quite spacious Sheets were noticeably stained. No electric plug next to a mirror which makes it difficult for women to dry hair or use straighteners/tongs. No tea or coffee facilities in room which meant you had to go out into the corridor for refreshments. No complimentary bathrobe for use after gym. |

The two staff we encountered were excellent. wishing us a good evening wehn we went out. Went and checked out the lamp not working, and advised us of why not fixed. Just excellent.The breakfast facility was excellent too. Fresh and lots of choice. I thought the room was small for executive, but that was it. |

Modern clean design, welcoming staff, good facilities, plentiful continental breakfast For a hotel trying very hard to be really chique this place badly let itself down with a Blackpool b&b approach to bedroom linen . . .the double bed was actually two singles put together . .so with a very uncomfortable join down the middle .. .but worse was a fitted bed sheet that did not fit . .it was too small for the two mattressses together.. |

Hotel was modern and "chic minimalist" as advertised, aimed mainly at the younger executive market. Complimentary continental breakfast was very good. Access to the hotel is via a rear entrance, which was not at all clearly marked and the entrance was difficult to find. |

People friendly, Plenty of room, Smart place. Couldn't email me a menu in advance so couldn't decide about eating there or not in advance. Menu looked fine when I got there but by then we had decided to eat elsewhere. If room was £10 cheaper would definitely stay there again. |
