The staff were very friendly and the reception was welcoming and clean. Good car parking facilities. Lovely garden and grounds. Rooms quite spacious Sheets were noticeably stained. No electric plug next to a mirror which makes it difficult for women to dry hair or use straighteners/tongs. No tea or coffee facilities in room which meant you had to go out into the corridor for refreshments. No complimentary bathrobe for use after gym. |

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice enviornment central to the town. poor layout of bed, described as a double room, bed 3/4 slightly cramped and drinks facilities out of order |

The fact that we were warned the room was only recommended for single occupancy, but turned out to be adequate for two. the food was probably the worst I have tasted anywhere. |

The two staff we encountered were excellent. wishing us a good evening wehn we went out. Went and checked out the lamp not working, and advised us of why not fixed. Just excellent. The breakfast facility was excellent too. Fresh and lots of choice. I thought the room was small for executive, but that was it. |

Modern clean design, welcoming staff, good facilities, plentiful continental breakfast For a hotel trying very hard to be really chique this place badly let itself down with a Blackpool b&b approach to bedroom linen . . .the double bed was actually two singles put together . .so with a very uncomfortable join down the middle .. .but worse was a fitted bed sheet that did not fit . .it was too small for the two mattressses together.. |

The initial greeting was very friendly, checking in was swift, and the room (and bed) was very comfortable. It lacked atmosphere, probably more to de with how few guests were staying. |

Hotel was modern and "chic minimalist" as advertised, aimed mainly at the younger executive market. Complimentary continental breakfast was very good. Access to the hotel is via a rear entrance, which was not at all clearly marked and the entrance was difficult to find. |

People friendly, Plenty of room, Smart place. Couldn't email me a menu in advance so couldn't decide about eating there or not in advance. Menu looked fine when I got there but by then we had decided to eat elsewhere. If room was £10 cheaper would definitely stay there again. |

I loved the Raid the Larder, very handy after a boozy wedding reception! The room was lovely, flat screen tv and a double bed with two single duvets so no squabbling over who has been pinching the covers! All very clean and tidy. The only thing not to like was the curtain in the room, they would have done with being changed as they were haning off the rail and were a bit grubby. |

The decor The failure to include cooked breakfast within the price was quite alienating |
