Location was very good. Able to easily walk to castle, royal mile, palace, princes street. If location is your primary interest, then this is a good hotel. Also, the bathroom in the double room (I upgraded from a single as I could not even keep my suitcase open in the single room it was so small!!!) was very nice, with a strong, hot shower! The evening front desk staff was clueless about most things. She told me there was one restaurant to walk to (when there are dozens), and the one she sent me to had closed down. Rough around the edges with peeling paint and wallpaper coming off the walls. It was a little expensive for the condition of the hotel (not a very good value). |

Excellent placing of hotel near historical centre. All services suit with supply (facilities) and category, but not more. No problem during staying. |

Hotel very clean. Staff friendly. Room we had was quiet which was ideal, but we were right in the middle of the city and within walking distance of shops etc. Will be recommending to friends. |

Good location, but this is it's only positive feature None of the staff spoke English and were rude and uninterested; rooms were extremely basic; Furishings/decor throughout the hotel were tatty and dirty. Breakfast was appalling, had clearly been (over) cooked much earlier and kept warm. We would have been unhappy even if it had been cheap but £170 for a night was utterly outrageous. |

Location was excellent for city attractions, access to transport with buses right outside door, including the Airlink to the airport, and taxi ranks. Also good restaurants and variety of pubs. Room was small but beds were very comfortable. Luggage room was very handy. Bar area wasnt inviting. Open kitchen door on to landing area beside breakfast room was unattractive and a bit smelly. Paintwork in some areas a bit shoddy. But these negatives were well off set by the positives. |

The location was very convenient for buses to the Airport and for general sightseeing of the city. The net curtains in the room were not hung properly. One of the windows did not have a net curtain at all. One of the members of staff in the dining room was chewing gum whilst on duty. This should not be acceptable. |

Centrally located, good value. The Wireless Broadband was too slow to be of any use at all. |

Very good value. Central location. Quiet rooms. Hospitality tray. Heating seemed intermittent and no separate bathroom heater. A little disappointed in cooked breakfast - potatoes cooked with sausages and no vegetarian option offered.n However, thanks to staff for finding this out for me when I asked. |

Situated on the Royal Mile, close to the castle, minutes from the main shopping areas of Princes Street, this hotel offers an extensive Health & Leisure Club. |
These city-centre suites are located at the west end of Princes Street. Tourist destinations are accessible and excellent cafes, bars, restaurants and shops are very close by. |
