low season but still very good value, friendly staff and close to tube station. The rooms were tidy, well maintained and the continental breakfast was also good. I would stay again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms have had a refit - very nice but design over sense! Breakfast was excellent.Very fresh and good selection. Everything is very clean. All quality fittings and nice bathrooms but a few things missing - bath plug! Very nice soap etc and nice towels. Nice atmosphere and I would stay here again despite quite a few niggles. We had a particularly good deal but I would not have wanted to pay full price.
Very cramped rooms- so why such an enormous bed base? Nearly 1m high. No room for case despite there being a case rack - folded up as nowhere to put it but there was one! Had room changed because blind fell down on my head as it hadn't been fitted properly. And, black glass in both mirrors in the bathroom!!! Impossibleto see in for make up or shaving. Also a glaring light leaking out behind the doorbell/do not disturb panel. This really prevented me sleeping properly. Duvets in covers with massive amounts of excess fabric to be tucked in but too tight so one has to untuck it - then tied up in knots with excess sheeting. All unnecessary! A normal duvet cover would be better. Room 316 had an extremely noisy bathroom fan which would have been intolerable had we not found the isolation switch. Not fitted correctly??
The location is excellent for London. 2 stops from Euston on a main road.
Booked this hotel the night before an important meeting specifically for the Wifi as I had work to do in preparation for the next day. The Wifi was down for 3 hours and the receptionist was not helpful.
The hotel is really nice, it just takes 20 minutes with the 16 bus to the city, there is also another bus where you can go directly to the oxford circus and to camden. We had a twin bed room - it was very nice, we had a bathtub, the breakfast was very good. The room was clean. Good service.
The Wifi wasn't working with our phones (couldn't connect) Our room was without a window because it was at -1 floor.
Location of the hotel Shower
Staff unprepared and unpleasant. Did not do anything to satisfy the customers. Size of the room not according to the description and pictures in the website. Executive room with no space around the bed at all. Staff told us that all the rooms were like this one, however we could see other rooms with much extra space and an armchair. The king size bed was consisted of two individual matresses and bed linen.
Good tv lush breakfast nice little tuch haveing a frige in your room 2 keep your drinks in
The staff never talk 2 u just blank u all the time that the only bad thing about the place
Nice hot chocolate at the bar.
Got to room and was very small so decided to pay £20 per night to upgrade. Mistake! First we got moved into a room were tv didn't work and nor did heating, as this is apparently the 'new part of the hotel'. Next room, heating still didn't work but tv did, so that's a plus. Room had clearly never been used, taps didn't work properly they spat at you. Toilet had bits of tile etc at the bottom of them, and apparently the hotel only has wifi in the lobby! You can't even buy it for your room. This is 2015! Reception lady was most rude and unhelpful person ever come across before!
The location suited us, and the staff were excellent all the time. Breakfast was light and sufficient. In house food was good and the kitchen happily catered for us late at night. Lifesaver! Excellent shower.
Carpet in the room was ripped and smelly. Curtain retainers were not child friendly. Under bed storage needed a latch as baby fingers found dangerous nooks. Lift buttons '#2' needs servicing. Water was really really hot.
closer to city centre breakfast was good. Hospitality personel.
the room was smoll. wi-fi didn't work saturday and sunday
Quiet room, nice bathroom, good breakfast
Parking can be difficult
The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the second night I was in a road accident and the staff found out so they insisted on making my last night more comfortable and asked if there was anything I needed. The room was lovely and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
The food wasn't what I expected and the wi-fi was very weak but it was free and worked in my room on the 2nd floor.
Room size, fittings. Hotel location. Size of shower cubicle.
Bed not very comfortable. Service at breakfast and lousy coffee. Staff in restaurant very poor English. Shower very difficult to control. Possibly faulty.
Decor Room Shower Well stocked with tea, coffee and little extras Helpful staff Very comfy bed
Not keen on the location, but it was very quiet with little traffic noise
Hotel was modern, clean, well appointed and functional with a good breakfast. Staff were also polite and attentive to our needs at all times. Ie heated towel rail was not working when we arrived, but after reporting it to reception it was repaired by the following night.
It would have been nice to open the window at night, but in room 111, we understand why we couldn't.
No Wireless in the rooms. I couldn't open the windows of my room. Poor breakfast. I doubt if I come back here !!
breakfast very comfortable rooms
- I have been asked to pay 5£ to leave the luggage for few hours...ridiculous - wifi...often not working
I liked that it was close to St johns wood. That's all.
In the 5 days we were there, we were in 4 different rooms, maintenance issue that was not addressed to us and washroom was left with pieces with pipes exposed and it smelled like garbage, they only have wifi on the 2nd floor when in every room it's states that they have free high speed wifi . Although the price seems good and pics look attractive , find another hotel. Oh yah they forget to mention that there is a night club across the street. Worst stay ever , pay lil more and stay at the London marriot down the street.ugh waste of money
The rooms were ok for the price paid.
no wifi in rooms / very rigid staff / Windows don't open / stuffy air inside of rooms until you switch on ac / location of the hotel in a very dodgy area
great location nice bar.
Was barely in the hotel but there were a couple of things that need addressed. The bath doesn't drain away so when you shower your legs get a bath at the same time. We were on the bottom floor and we were woken by a generator/hot water pipe at 6am witch went on and off for the next 3 hours.
decor check in / out
- smell of 'drains' throughout the hotel - 1 toaster at breakfast with 2 slots broken massive queue - nothing else ready 20 mins after it was meant to start - Some kitchen staff very rude - Rough area don't recommend going out at night
Location -Friendly Staff-Clean-Value for money
Very small cramped rooms -no window in room-overheating and lack of fresh air!
Very modern and close to underground and overground tube stations. Tesco express store right opposite to get anything you may need. Hotel was good for the price just needs to add an English breakfast instead of continental as standard.
Breakfast was not the best. If you don't like yogurt or fruit then there is not a lot of choice. I ended up with just a bowl of cereal and a piece of toast. There wasn't much else to choose from. The bed was quite hard as well. Just needs a new mattress.
Proximity to tube station,bathroom
Very tight room, very poor breakfast, very poor wifi and TV have limited channels.
The staff were helpful and accommodating. I would stay here again.
My only gripe was the internet kicked me off every 15 minutes. It made it hard to do work in my room.
