Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was good, didn't eat in restaurant. Room was very spacious, well furnished and very clean. Quiet location, convenient to travel to Ayr (by car, 20mns) for the train to Glasgow.

Shower was extremely low pressure, (probably just our room). There is no way it would have rinsed shampoo out of even the thinnest of hair.

Excellent room. Quiet location, lovely views. Only ate breakfast but the choice was good and the staff are cheerful and friendly. People who complain about it being a care home are being over-critical.

Shower over bath was a bit narrow. Otherwise, nothing could have been better.

Very friendly staff couldn't please you enough ,Brilliant tasty food we were never hungry! Immaculately clean. It was our silver wedding anniversary during our stay and they even decorated our table with balloons lovely little touch :-D Would definitely recommend

Only problem we had was we were above reception and the doors banged but this didn't ruin our stay other than that we couldn't fault anything

They were very friendly and helpful. I had emailed that we were coming in Glasgow and driving straight there. They let us check in early which was great since we came on a 7 hour night flight and needed sleep. The beds are comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and it was very good.

A little noisy with closing doors near us and could hear the people next door.

A lovely calm air extends over the whole place! It has a gentle appearance outside with plenty of parking and pleasant gardens. A lovely outlook over Turnberry Golf course and sea views from the dining room. Because half of the building is a Care Home, the place is very geared up for disabled guests, with only two levels and a Stanna lift for ease. Pleasingly decorated rooms, spacious, clean. Lovely breakfasts and a hairdressers on site!

    Nothing not to like!

Quality bath robes, plenty of hot water and nice views from dining area

Part of Malin Court hotel is also a care home for the elderly-this is not mentioned in the hotel description on booking . com.this may not be a problem to most but i am a carer myself and i look after my mother. The stay was like a bus mans holiday ie i was wanting a break away from the world of caring and not reminded of it on holiday

The greenery outside and views were good. Room was spacious, nice large bathroom and very comfortable beds.

Still dont understand why in this day and age of technology that hotels cant provide a proper tv signal! We didnt go on holiday to watch tv, of course not but we did want to check in on news and even tried to obtain the freeview radio to listen to. Something we do at home but we got neither. Disappointed. The room had tea and coffee making facilities which was good until we tasted the tea. I probably cant say rbe brand- it begins wirh B.. Possibly the worst cup of tea ever! Truly. The Malin Court seems to have spent a lot of money on branding yet really let itself down on the simple teabag. We didnt realise either that the hotel shares the reception amd building of a care home. Such an odd combination and it was hard not to be aware of this even on the 'hotel side of the building'. Lovely surroundings for a care home, but I wouldnt go back as we felt we were staying in the home rather than a hotel. Very clean hotel, could do with a more separate emtrance and reception space. Breakfast was good but the same tea let it down.

Quality of the food and the location.

Very noisy one night which went on until 4:30 in the morning. Students, I believe. More should have been done about it. I hardly slept and was exhausted the following day.

Many tables overlooking Maiden's harbour and the sea. Wide choice on the menu. Food excellent. Unhurried. The service friendly and discreet. The table available at the time booked

    Temptation to overindulge.
