Liked the adjoining family room. Good facilities a little tired though. Good location to town centre/ beach. Need to be fit to climb the hill to get there!
Hotel appearance very tired, unfriendly staff regarding use of swimming pool and hottub, spoke to in a condescending manor. Would have expected breakfast included for £85 a night, other hotels in area offer this.
Confortable bed nice view
Very relaxed informal
No wifi creaky pipes in our suite
Good view of the sea Clean Staff were friendly and helpful
Bed was uncomfortable
smell of the entire house ie damp hits you as soon as you walk in the bedroom was the same not happy to be told after I paid no kitchen would be open.should of mentioned before we booked, there was dogs in the hotel states pet free, stains on carpets. they took money out of my account before I got there. not customer friendly, poor all round and no bar for such a big place.i wanted to leave but already paid before we seen anything I was that disappointed, bit of a shame in all for our 10th anniversary wont go there again.
Great location, indoor pool and hot tub. Very relaxed.
Nice place and people. Good environment for our 12 year old with the swimming pool and pool table. Good location from the town except the steep walk back.
Good little indoor pool. Pleasant staff. Good size rooms. Very good breakfast.
Tired decor. No en suite in main bedroom. Curtains did not fit windows. Room not cleaned or beds made (3 night stay).
bedroom facilities value for money expensive
The owners were very friendly and helpful. We certainly liked the location and would book again.
Great place to stay
It was close to the sea and shops.
We picked this hotel as it looked nice on the pictures and showed a nice garden so we paid a little bit more for the accommodation and breakfast was not included we didn't mind this as it looked really nice and no dogs allowed so we were disappointed to find that the owner had dogs and the dogs were allowed on the garden so we couldn't take the baby on there to play.
Location, Helpful Staff, great place for kids
Very thin walls. Can hear everything in the hotel.
- nice location - friendly staff
- wifi only worked in front reception
No complaints. Excellent base for touring the area or just a short walk to Saundersfoot for restaurants and bars or just fresh air.
Nothing. You get what you pay for. Could do with a small bar though.
Very friendly atmosphere, If your looking for comfort and relaxation then the malin is the place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights and most definitely going back soon . A good size swimming pool and a hot tub and just a short walk to the beach what more could you want.
Best described as a great family hotel with welcoming hosts where nothing is too much trouble, good for car parking. Location is good just far enough out of Saundersfoot to be quiet for a great nights sleep, very comfy rooms clean bedding all rooms have fridge, kettle & microwave so you can be self contained if you wish, breakfast is extra but fresh cooked and plentiful. We stayed as a couple but very good if you have children as nice garden & play area. Will definitely return in the future, for us value for money hotel ;)
Excellent value for money, very nice welcome, staff very friendly. Will book again if we are in the area.
Nothing to dislike!
beach walking swimming
suites in need of up grade room smelt og urine
Room only buisines stay single room good size bed, clean, nice view from top floor. Hot water. Tea making facility and fridge excellant idea. Good value for price paid. Excellant location if your on holiday and some good facilities in hotel pool, garden, hot tub etc.
Not sound proof rooms noisey family room next door. Small shower room. £8 breakfast charge. No wifi in rooms.
Staff were always happy to help
I have two kid's (8 years old) and they enjoyed the garden and indoor pool. We had a studio which meant the kids had their own room and Television. We also had a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and sink. Saundersfoot town was just a short walk down hill. Oakwood Park was less than 20 minutes drive away.
Location was superb.and size of the rooms was good.
Standard of furniture was very dated and uncomfortable as was most of the hotel. could have been more child friendly. toilet didnt flush properly and shower tray filled up so quickly we had to be quick or turn off shower and wait for it to drain before putting it back on.room was very dusty. service was non existent.waited ages for someone at reception to welcome us and reception wernt great.i expected staff in a hotel that was supposed to be family orientated was rubbish.we seen no staff whole time we were there and when we did ask we got the stroppy owner. We didnt feel welcome at all. And the noise from the room upstairs and around us meant our kids couldnt sleep so we had a terrible night.esoecially as the bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. When you go swimming there are no adequate cganging facilities and the hot tub is not covered and open to the rain and can be seen from the fron main road.crazy.not recomended
The children loved he swimming pool and pool table.Family room a good size with separate room for children with twin beds.Bathrom a little small though.Otherwise all good.
Nowhere to dry towels in room.Could have done with small male/female changing area from pool as had to walk through reception up to third floor after using pool in a towel.
