Best described as a great family hotel with welcoming hosts where nothing is too much trouble, good for car parking. Location is good just far enough out of Saundersfoot to be quiet for a great nights sleep, very comfy rooms clean bedding all rooms have fridge, kettle & microwave so you can be self contained if you wish, breakfast is extra but fresh cooked and plentiful. We stayed as a couple but very good if you have children as nice garden & play area. Will definitely return in the future, for us value for money hotel ;)
Excellent value for money, very nice welcome, staff very friendly. Will book again if we are in the area.
Nothing to dislike!
beach walking swimming
suites in need of up grade room smelt og urine
Staff were always happy to help
I have two kid's (8 years old) and they enjoyed the garden and indoor pool. We had a studio which meant the kids had their own room and Television. We also had a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and sink. Saundersfoot town was just a short walk down hill. Oakwood Park was less than 20 minutes drive away.
The children loved he swimming pool and pool table.Family room a good size with separate room for children with twin beds.Bathrom a little small though.Otherwise all good.
Nowhere to dry towels in room.Could have done with small male/female changing area from pool as had to walk through reception up to third floor after using pool in a towel.
Breakfast was ok.
Staff were friendly and place is lovely in terms of character and proximity to saundersfoot.
I had to fix the aerial cable in order to be able to receive a tv signal and you had to shower against the wall as the shower fixing wasn't working.
We stayed in the studio room which was perfect for our toddler as it had a separate bedroom. Lots of toys provided in the garden area perfect for families. Hot tub was amazing and the short walk into Saundersfoot was great.
Kids friendly with a swimming pool. Nice location and friendly staff.
my room was high enough that I could glimpse the shore from my window but that would not be the case from many of the rooms. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Being a family friendly is good and bad depending on if you have a family. I did not but I enjoyed watching families with their children in the pool and playing with all the games provided. I was lucky that noisier visitors were not in the rooms next to mine.
Staff were very friendly, room was huge with a little kitchenette. Even let me take my bike up to the room rather than leave in the car. Great area and right near a beautiful beach and great access to lots of good hills for riding.
Nothing bad to comment on.
Big room, quiet room just like a asked for. Lots of room beside our bedroom where you could hang around in case of a rainy day. Also an indoor pool. Good breakfast. Owner picked us up from the railway station because we don't drive a car. Even though there was a busstop in front of the hotel.
Bathroom is clean but needs a repair of the shower (had to hold it in my hand above me) Somethings of the taps came loose. We didn't bother to complain because we felt o.k. in Malin House.
Bus service into tenby every half hour even on a sunday on the way back requested to be dropped off at our hotel and kindly did so very impressed I would go to this hotel again very nice owners
The room was lovely and very clean
Breakfast was very expensive for what you got
Friendly staff throughout. Was offered a pot of tea on arrival even though it was late on. Breakfast was served very promptly in a well decorated dining room by very efficient, courteous staff, but was not rushed to finish. Hotel room was very large with more than enough room for a large double and a single folding bed. The communal rooms on the ground floor just seemed to go on forever.
The car park was a little awkward to find and seemed to partly occupy the street between this and another hotel. The walk into the town was pleasant, but it's quite a climb coming back to the hotel!
We stayed in room 20. A large airy room with all you could want for a family holiday. Cute children's room. Microwave and toaster. The pool is small but fab and the hot tub/jacuzzi a fab extra
Could of done with somewhere to dry towels
friendly welcome, nothing to much bother for staff, even asked if we wanted refreshments on arrival, lovely room, quiet, no road noise, considering its near a main road, lovely garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi, we had no children, but the garden was well eqipped for people with children, breakfast is up to you, its not included in price, as long as you let staff know the night before, if you want breakfast or not, we did,nt bother as we were out and about early..
there was nothing to dis-like about this hotel, will definately book there again...
lovely location great hotel will go back again
Great hotel, great family rooms and garden for children to play in. Breakfast very tasty!!
Breakfast was a bit expensive.
Handy enough to town
no breakfast, no atmosphere, like a boarding house it was so impersonal. Good playground for kids, no wifi in rooms - lounge area noisy.
strange smell in room.
Lovely place to stay. Located very near the habour an 5 mins walk to the town centre. Friendly staff an a great nights sleep
Faciliies GReat. Location Great Lots to keep the kids entertained
The Lady Owner of the property was Very rude to several members of the party at various different times and occasions. Totally unhelpful, not child friendly and doesn't deserve the business. A shame because the husband and son were lovely.
