location beautiful, peacefull just the sound of birds. loved the ford nearby. owner chris was nice and friendly
would have liked the choice of a full breakfast and onsuite bathroom, dont like to share
Peaceful location, really nice and helpful staff, dog friendly, comfy bed, convenient location for Bovington Camp and Lulworth Cove. And Flyn!!!
People who love to have a soak in a bath may be disappointed as the bathroom is shared. Also for some it would be nice if there was a choice of fried brekkie(personally not bothered as I'm a veggie).
The view from the window. The size of the room. The friendly owner
The room, the house, the quiet location, the breakfast and Chris the landlady. Had a lovely overnight stay.
Warm welcome, a peaceful location. Comfy bed.
Warm welcome from Chris on arrival, lovely reception for the dog we took too. The breakfast and local knowledge was excellent and very helpful.
Comfortable and clean Great quiet location for easy access (by car) to Jurassic Coast Friendly and welcoming hostess
- Quiet, friendly, reasonable value for money in an area with few options for accomodation - friendly host
- nothing in particular
This is a lovely little country gem; peaceful location and a lovely house. Chris, the owner is very warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed my few days, thank you :)
Location, cleanliness of room and friendly owner.
Expensive considering have to share a toilet and bathroom with six others. Smell of cigarette smoke coming into room in evening. (The owner is a heavy smoker)
Very comfortable accommodation, clean very homely feel to it. Relaxed atmosphere and well looked after.
Breakfast was sufficient, bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Sharing a bathroom with all the other guests. Bed was never made ,from one end of the week to the other. Water was not replaced to enable us to use the tea and coffee making facilities provided in the room. Card payment facilities not available as indicated on website.
Loved the location, the comfortable home and friendly welcome. Enjoyed the Continental breakfast the first day.
Just a small point but there were 2 of us in a double bedroom, so it would have been nice to have 2 chairs in there but there was only 1.
The variety offered at the breakfast table. Attention to detail shown by landlady. The places we had chosen to visit were all in easy reach, Weymouth, Dorchester, Lulworth, Bournemouth etc
I think the milk was different to our regular supermarket product and for us it spoilt hot drinks and cereal dishes.
no en-suite and bathroom often in use,
nice clean room and very quite
Very friendly landlady made to feel welcome from the start very helpful
Couldn't for a meal and a drink with out taking the car.
Staff extremely helpful
Too far away from pubs/shops
Friendly accommodating owner. Lovely room with ensuite (way above expectation). High quality finish to all rooms. Quiet location.
Nothing. Perfect for an overnight stop before a charity walk the next day.
Everything. Christine the host was very entertaining. A joy to stay there and we would not hesitate booking up again.
Clean and good comfort Wireless signal not really works
Could have more option on the breakfast :(
A wonderful B&B. I almost don't want to tell anyone about it for fear it will always be booked if I want to return. The bed was amazingly comfortable and we had a sound nights sleep both nights. Chris made us feel very welcome and gave good advice on the area. The Continental Breakfast was plentiful and we left for our days out with full tummies to start the day. Only a few minutes drive to Lulworth and Durdle Door, the town of Wareham is only 10 minutes and has great restaurants and is a stunning place to visit.
Location was superb the welcome was very good and the cleanliness of room and bathroom good
There was no milk in the room or cup had to go and ask, tv was ok but dvd player did not work
Relaxed friendly armoshere
