Mallyan Spout Hotel  

Re-assuring that previous feedback and recommendations about this hotel were mainly spot on. It's a nice relaxing chill out location to wind down and re-charge. Weather was kind, and so makes the difference in appreciating the location. Maybe a bit expensive, but overall we think it was a price worth paying for a short break to experience and enjoy the surrounding area! Can't fault anything - you have to be seriously picky to critique the meals, stay or service. What more is there to say?!! Would we wish to go back? Most definitely.

During our stay at Mallyan Spout Hotel we had snow and a power cut for at least 2 days ,there staff were very helpfull in every way to make sure we had hot drinks and lighting as best they could. At the end of our stay they did not charge us for the last night b&b to compensate for having no power . I was very happy with the way we were treated and will definately reccomend them to all my friends

Wonderful location. Clean, well appointed accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of space for relaxation without feeling crowded. Particularly good value at off-season rates. Very peaceful. We fully intend to re-visit and stay longer than the one night. Ideal for "Heartbeat" fans. Goathland was location for "Aidensfield".

Excellent location for countryside and coast,staff were very attentive and polite nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. Will certainly be returning

lovely relaxing place to stay.. You could relax in the bar and eat without having to eat in the restaurant.

The hotel is perfect for a relaxing break in the north Yorkshire countryside. It is perfect on a winters night sitting by the fire Having a pint. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to assist. There is a great choice of food on the menu. The north Yorkshire moors steam railway is well Worth a ride on to Pickering. The heartbeat countryside is a perfect setting for A weekend away.

The setting opposite a church,lovely views looking over the North York Moors.Friendly staff they could not do enough for us.Very cosy with the open fire & stove.Excellent Food with Clean,modern & comfortable bed.Will book again.

Very cosy, log fires and comfy sofas in the lounge. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, who managed to make us feel like they had no one else to look after, even though the hotel was quite busy.

Very clean cosy and comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice and peaceful. We were having a break to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and unbeknown to me my husband had asked for champagne, chocolates and a huggy bear to be taken to our room, I was speechless when a very pleasant young man arrived at the hotel room door, He was very polite and just made my night so I would like to take this opportunity to thank him.
