The hotel was well designed and decorated in a different yet understated style that felt both special and homely. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and although the staff was attentive, they were not intrusive. I would definitely stay there again. |

Parking easy at front. Good design/decor. Room excellent with good view. Breakfast good selection. Service faultless. A bit noisy in the evening (Saturday) but not after the bar closed. |

Excellent hotel, discounted midweek price allowed me to stay on business, would not have been able to justify if had been full price the only small thing was the wireless internet- it worked well the first night and got painfully slow the second night |

Good service and Restaurant, very comfortable and spacious rooms which were well serviced. Friendly staff. The Steam room was not operating, should be noted on the website. There are awkward stairs and doors for bringing bags in and out of rooms |

Lovely hotel without any pomp, liked the dark and mysterious feel it exuded, perfect for a murder mystery night at an extremely affordable rate. |

We were allowed a late checkout with no hassle. We used the spa which was extremely relaxing. The staff was polite, professional and accommodating. The room was complete luxury. The bath and shower were both beautiful. The location of the hotel was great - very picturesque. We had a perfect stay and would recommend it to anyone. I can't think of anything that wasn't completely perfect. |

The Hotel was comfortable, clean and although busy, very quiet. The optional breakfast was well worth the money, all I ate was freshly and quickly made to order..no mean feat in a busy restaurant. I even liked the ample toiletries as standard in my bathroom. Well worth the stay here, made my party weekend start and finish beautifully. |

Situation, facilities and helpful staff. Impossible to shave in bathroom (room 015) as mirror nearly one metre away! This has been reported by other residents. Cheap cereals at breakfast! I kid you not. |

The restaurant was wonderful...... I did not like that the staff thought it was okay to put a bill through to the room without signing for it. Consistantly this was an issue. |

Comfortable room. It was a different hotel, kind of boutique hotel types. The different things they do.. brings a short smile on your face and you feel satisfied paying the amount for your stay.. what they call as 'the Damage' Not much food options |
