Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and clean. Would stay again!
Had to wait a while at checkin as room was'nt ready. Otherwise..impressed.
The hotel was very central to everything, very stylish hotel and staff were very helpful and friendly
The food was definitely to a particular taste, very seafood based which for me was not great as I don't eat seafood.
I loved the setting of the hotel and the interior design is absolutely georgous :-) would love to go back and stay the staff are also very helpful. Will defiantly be back :-)
Great little hip, eclectic feel. Liked the food in downstairs bar, staff there where great, especially Orla who had great recommendations on the food and drinks and good info on area around. Liked the bed, and complementary toiletries. Good location.
Room a little on small side, and window when open as no air con, had no screens and anyone could get in as we on first floor. Bathroom needed a little more light to be able to use mirror.
Location, comfort, quality and quiet rooms
Rooms very dark, needs more light; no air conditioning, however fortunately we were able to open the window.
Excellent location. Bar lovely and comfortable servicing great cocktails .. Food excellent
Rooms too warm
Location, Staff, Food
No Aircon in the rooms. Problematic when it's hot.
Very helpful staff Decor and attention to detail, different and creative Fabulous breakfast Fabulous bathroom, great towels!!
Felt breakfast was expensive though really good!
Location, staff, design features and amazing cocktails!
The atmosphere and service in Malmaison is exactly what you want. Staff are attentive and courteous, the facilities are well maintained and you feel relaxed and welcomed from the moment you check in. I would happily eaten the entire restaurant menu and my wife who is vegetarian had an excellent meal. The bar has a relaxed feel and even when crowded the staff were always on hand to refill a glass. I would thoroughly recommend Malmaison in Belfast for an overnight break. It's close to the city's waterfront hall and Odyssey Arena and right next to Custom House Square where concerts are held regularly.
The location is fabulous, the bar and restaurant are really good. Staff are friendly and the rooms are stylish and eel equipt.
our only issue was the bed, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, I suppose everyone has personal taste but the fact that two beds pushed forehand to make a superking means you have unnecessary ridges in the centre where most couples tend to sleep.
lovely room very pleasant staff and very accommodating late at night,
Staff both at reception and in the bar/ restaurant area were fantastic. Nice rooms. Great food.
Everything about this hotel shouts boutique! It's fab - all the little quirky items are great. Lovely to stay somewhere a little different!
The room was a good size and the shower was powerful and hot. The location is good as you are near the centre of city. The bar is very good. We had the chicken lollipops in the bar and they were very tasty.
There is no air conditioning and even with the window opening felt the room was very warm.
Room very clean, no need to leave this hotel bar & restaurant excellent. Staff very professional.
Glad we upgraded, room was lovely, although very warm, having a fan in the room was enough, TV was great, Sky Sports a nice surprise, bed very comfortable, room cleaned every day, lovely to come back after busy day and relax.
It was all very good.
Rooms and lay out
Breakfast seeming a little expensive for only contineatal think at the price full Irish could be given
The location of this hotel is fantastic
The bins being emptied on tuesday morning ,our room 215 was directly above with window open .
Staff are very welcoming and very polite . Well positioned for all city amenities .
It might have 5 stars but it certainly isn't a 5 star hotel! Staff are excellent and very polite . Hotel is very very warm to warm to sleep . It is also very dark I think you should be given a torch when checking in !
When we arrived they asked for a £50 deposit on top of the room stay, didnt explain why, even when i asked them. We were excited because its based as a 4* but when we got to the room, the window wouldnt close so all night we could hear the seagulls right outside. The bathroom was very dusty and the plug in the sink was broke anytime i pushed it in we cudnt get it out again. The carpets were stained. There was no air conditioning, just a very loud fan. The bed was awful, so hard, cudnt sleep much all night, next morning had a sore back. Then on check out the staff were horrible, not friendly at all just looked at us as if we didnt belong, got our payment and actually said no more to us. We just expected more from such a highly rated hotel. We defiantly will not be going back.
design of room Trendy hotel all round Location Complimentary shampoo and body wash smelt fantastic!! Lots of towels provided
Room was intensely hot during the night. Fan was provided however. Bed was slightly too hard.
The room was very comfortable, excellent location, very friendly staff.
Having had tea in the room using the tea facility in the morning, discovered that evening, the dirty cups and water glasses were left on bed side table, room had otherwise been cleaned. Menue given to us on Sunday in dinning room showed two course for a special price, but discretely written on same, was,( offer not availlable on Sunday.) We believe this was deliberate and by the time we discovered, it would have been embarrising to leave. The worse value in Belfast. Music very loud in both bar and Dinning Room. General interest from stall not good.
