Good location for city centre and docks etc. Bed was big and comfortable and shower excellent
Have stayed here before and had views over waterfront. This time views over road
Service polite but slow
Beautiful hotel, lovely room and very friendly staff. Oh and excellent breakfast. Thank u
Bed was rather hard but this is a personal preference and didn't think this on my last stay
Staff particularly in bar and brasserie area were very helpful and attentive. Very well presented in the main areas of the hotel. Food was lovely.
Staff on reception less friendly. Stains on curtains and marks on the walls as well as dust in the lampshades which you wouldn't expect with what you pay for just the room.
The hotel is a really lovely place it's very nice in side staff are lovely and rooms are very nice xx
The breakfast in the dining room was excellent and the service and friendliness of the dining room staff could not be faulted.
Very noisy, filthy toilets, dark corridors, dimly lighted bedrooms, view of the river obscured by office block, uncaring reception staff, no face flannels, no shower gel, very expensive, not a hotel for the over 30s.
Ordered a taxi got told 20 mins wait and was still there at 2am! Missed an event because of this :( would like to raise complaint
Location near City but quiet interior very nice staff pleasant would stay again
Even with all the lights on the rooms are too dark and gloomy .it makes it really difficult to read ,apply make up etc. We accept the dark decor but the lighting needs to compensate for this
Comfy bed, lovely bathroom especially the deep bath... Yummy mini bar!
Breakfast service but slow but food worth the wait
General feel of the hotel was good and it was close to an amazing Argentinian steak house!
Heard great things from friends about how comfortable the bed was but in room 210 this mattress needs replacing. I woke up in the night and my hip hurt from such a hard mattress!!
handy for a multi-storey car park, interesting easy and safe dockside walk to albert dock area.
the bed was very hard and the wc flush did not work properly.
Comfortable room Thought breakfast was too expensive so did not have it
Room was lovely
Got an electrical shock from hair dryer
Hotel was beautifully decorated, staff very welcoming, food was superb, bar/lounge was lovely with fantastic selection of drinks. Will definitely be returning.
Poor lighting in bedroom
Good location on the River Mersey Nice atmosphere in the bar Good bedrooms with great bathroom
Receptionist not helpful in arranging dinner reservation - front line staff are really important in setting tone. We booked months in advance but no suggestion from hotel that a reservation for dinner in the Brasserie was necessary. We ended up eating dinner at a neighbouring hotel!
Good room, nice bath & shower.
Fabulous rooms, great design, walk in shower was amazing - huge power rain shower - it is unusual to get really good showers in hotels - most are over a bath and dribble lamely with variable pressure and bursts of boiling then cold water - this was a literal refreshing change - why can't all hotels have great showers?
Glass of wine cost £12.50 - totally shocking for a single glass - beware...
Breakfast was good, but slow
The smell of the lifts !!
The hotel was beautiful, and in a fantastic location. I would highly recommend it on that basis and would stay there again!
Staff were un-interested at times, took 15mins for the waiter to read the specials in the restaurant and we had to then ask to place a drinks order. Felt that for the star of hotel, surroundings and facilities the staff let it down!!
Reception was welcoming and room service good.
The Interior of the Hotel was very poorly lit with very dark walls in the corridors. The rooms were especially poorly lit which made it difficult when getting ready for the evening or day.
Very poor lighting in the bedroom. Impossible to read in the room. Very loud music in bar, and worse, in the restaurant for breakfast
