Close to the station.

Being ripped off with my room rate and then being lied to about it.

The staff were very helpful and had great manners. Any requests were accomdated without any hassle. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable.

Nothing.

Dinner menu was excellent, especially the Mal Stack Burger. Breakfast was equally as good, great variety of continental and cooked.

Loved the pamper afternoon, introduced my husband to the world of total relaxation!

The bar and restaurant were excellent. Room service was prompt.

The receptionist who greeted me was quite rude and unhelpful when I arrived. Phone didn't work in my room so I had to go down to order room service.

Only one compfy chair, in a double room and no table, to put your tea/coffee/newspapers on, while relaxing. Gurgling noise, from the air conditioning unit, in room 111, was a bit annoying at night.

The friendliness of all the staff, especially Adrian, Tom and the girl behind the bar. The location and the decor in reception, bar and breakfast room! The bath products!

First impressions of the room were it was a little tired. Chipped paintwork on the furniture and the big hole in the net curtain. (Room 310) however, the bed was so comfy and wet room/ hot water excellent!

Everything......Fab hotel will return!!

The over all design and decor of the facility was beautiful

We were charged for drinks and meals that were not ours. Also, a bartender only addressed my wife when asking for drinks while I sat next to her. Very disrespectful... We decided to not order anything else from the bar or restaurant for the duration of our stay. you should address your employees on respecting ALL of your guests in the future.

Loved the bedroom on the 4th floor, very luxurious and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was lovely.

shame there isn't a more intimate lounge area. It was very open plan, which at times felt cold.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful, really liked the bar atmosphere, delicious food, nice room and bathroom

Gym was v small, a bit dusty and had only 2 running machines and one was broken - didn't spoil things tho.

Staff lovely.

On arrival forms were almost unreadable. Others has made these comments room cramped for cost really. Bed awful hard which didn't expect after stay at Du Vin where bed lovely Room not well appointed. Everything seemed cramped. Mini bar warm and no milk on arrival overall would not stay in this chain of hotel again

The staff were more than friendly, any request such as breakfast in bed was done with a smile. We both loved our stay there and will definitely be stopping again.

Helpful friendly staff, gorgeous rooms - mine had huge bed, - cool bar & nice food - have stayed at this Mal before, love it & would happily move in!!

The location was great, the hotel has a lovely feel, very funky and cool. Food was excellent in the restaurant, the bar has a great atmosphere (although utterly freezing on the night we stayed due to the length of time the doors took to shut in the foyer.). Quirky, good gym and great spa facilities.

Staff could be more engaging, some ignored us! Minor details were missing: couldn't alter the air-con in our room, lighting very poor in bathroom for make-up or contact lenses. Pillows had some serious issues! Little things I know, but slightly annoying.

Rooms

Numerous people sprawled on floor and around seating area when we arrived at 7pm. Clearly very, very drunk. I'm all for people having a good time but this just ruined the image of the hotel and frankly was a real turn off. Never experienced that with other Mals.

The hotel was very clean and the reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very private and clean.

The food was very expensive and so we chose not to eat the evening meal. The breakfast portions were very small and not good value for money.

I love the vibe of the hotel & bathroom products. Also comfy beds. Restaurant was fab.

I just think room rates are a bit pricey and could be alot cheaper
