Very helpful and friendly staff, location, communal areas (bar etc), fast response lift, being really critical- dirty breakfast cups, lack of car park! Just to say that ordinary double beds are too small for most couples!

Clean. Smart. Location. Very slow service in the cocktail bar. Excellent cocktails, not matched by the servicing staff who seemed more interested in chatting with each other. Apart from that it was spot on.

Great location, comfortable beds, excellent toiletries in bathroom, really clean When in the residence bar, I felt that the staff didn't want to be there and certainly didn't want us to be in there! Granted it was late, but surely they should expect it on a Saturday night! And the price of the cocktails was ridiculous!

Excellent hotel, clean, interesting design in a stylish old Leeds building with lots of character. Very comfortable bed, fast wifi, coffee/tea in room, as well as iron and board. Outstanding breakfast that is cheaper if you order when you book or check in. Very handy for city centre and railway station. Will definitely stay there again.

I had only a brief stay but I will definitely come back - the food was divine, the room luxurious and the bathroom (I am particularly fussy about bathrooms) lovely and spotlessly clean. The toiletries were nice and the shower hot and powerful.

Good location for walking to city centre excellent accomodation- clean, fresh. good restaurant. easy Parking. relatively quiet (for a city centre hotel) good value. As a mature coup[le, (65) we often find the low lighting too low . we do like to see our food, and be able to read our menu's, we were able to find a table with reasonably good lighting, (and we do like subtle lighting.)

Short walk to the centre for bars and restaraunts. Great hotel all round, the restaraunt at the hotel looked very good and was busy but didn't get chance to eat in it. Can't wait to go back, highly recommended!

A gorgeous hotel, far removed from many of the sterile, cookie-cutter chains. Staff were lovely, rooms beautiful. A very modern, cool set up. Looking forward to staying at another of the Malmaison hotels in the near future!!

Top drawer. Really enjoyed my stay. I stay away 180 nights a year so believe I understand hotels. You staff were the most professional I have ever come across in this country. In Reception, bar, and restaurant... Your staff selection and training is a credit to you. Didn't have dinner, but breakfast was best ever. Some great touches, it arrived piping hot and the waiter found me Worcester Sauce easily and willingly. 95% of hotels have never heard of it! Overall - excellent. by all means quote me. (Paul Sampson Ignition4Business Ltd) Parking and leaving my car on double yellows while I brought my gear and expensive/exclusive samples to my room, I got a parking ticket in 10 minutes! Can you somehow arrange for a 15 mins checkin /drop off to room zone? Bed was hard. Not comfortable. Breakfast coffee was poor.

Location is ideal for a shopping trip The staff were very friendly and welcoming The room was much small than I expected The breakfast wasn't good We were told by friends who hyad stay at malmaison in Edinbrugh that It wasn't a stay in a hotel it was the Malmaision experiance we didn't feel that at all we were disappointed

Convenient for City. Excellent parking in q park. Restaurant/breakfast We stayed Saturday night with a room at the front of the hotel. The music and activity from night clubs went on very late (2-3am). Rooms quite dark. No well lit vanity mirror. Poor choice of draught beer -this is Yorkshire after all!
