It's location and the young gentleman on reception who checked me in. The waitress (small blonde english) at breakfast was quite rude to me. Shame as everything else was lovely. |

nothing,i booked as a treat and we hated every minute of our stay the poor location,the bar was loud,made you feel like you were in a cattle market,poor bar service and crazy prices.i woprked hard to save up for our anniversary weekend away and the truth is out of all the hotels we have stayed in(at least one per month)this is the worst ever. |

Thought the hotel was great - well up to the usual excellent Malmaison standards. Food was really good as was the service at dinner and breakfast Directions poor. Car park cost extortionate - and discount ticket given by hotel staff did not work! |

Iliked the decor in my room and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well. I ate in the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised at the high standard and quality of the food and service. The picture on the tv in my room (211) had interferance I left my room at 10a.m. and when I arrived back at 2p.m. the room had not been serviced. |

Decor and room facilities. We were sold a "Cocktail and Breakfast" package. At 06.30 pm we were drinking our pre dinner cocktail but were told that there would not be a table (in the half empty brasserie) until 08.30 pm. There were two "large parties" of non staying diners booked in who took precedence. |

The hotel came up to all expectations, fabulous room, modern decor, king size bed very comfortable. Location very central and in walking distance to main shopping area. Dined at the Brasserie and had an excellent steak washed down with a bottle of Brunello! |

The excellent service of the staff, friendly, professional, helpful, informative, couldnt fault them at all from reception staff, to housekeeper, to restaurant staff. Excellent. Hot drinks on room service menu would be nice, as we didnt have enough coffee, tea or milk. |

All the ususal Malmaison extras/special touches were there, which added to our weekend away. The breakfast hampers although £11 each were well worth the money - the fresh fruit salad was particularly good. Emptying the bottles at 6:30am on Sunday morning! Although as the bed was so comfortable was able to quickly go back to sleep. |
