Beautiful and very functional 2 bedroom apartment in Edinburgh. 10min walk to Edinburgh castle, city centre, royal mile. 2min walk to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Parking is avaliable on the street near apartment from 6pm until 7am. It felt like home.
Great rooms , Comfortable bed ( very home like ) . Everything was as expected or better.
Not a big deal but , there was no lift int he building , However it was just 2 floor
decor layout of the apartment colour scheme comfortable pillows and bed location security - the fact that you didnt have to worry about a key kitchen facilities were brilliant the bathroom was also amazing - great shower warm and cosy with a great deal of space for the two of us
possibly a bath
Good facilities. very comfortable.
a bit far from the castle, need to take buses
Walls were quite thin so you can hear neighbours & street noise sometimes
Wonderful apartment, fully fitted for complete comfort.
Very busy street and, without air keeping the windows open meant very noisy nights.
A character conversion of an old whisky warehouse. Very close to Conference centre and tram stop. Quiet
We were on the second floor gained by stairs which were outside and could get wet when raining. The whole block is automated and there are no staff on site. There were not enough cups plates glasses etc. There was no desk at which to use a laptop
Setting, Size of rooms, level of finish, comfort,
Open space Room Good location Fast internet
Bed in Room 4 Poor cleanliness
Location, style of the apartment, ease of entering and departing.
Lack of heating, position of mirror made it difficult to dry hair with dryer
Great location and use of space within the apartment. Comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the central location.
Would have very much appreciated more towels - one bath towel each for four days is not enough. More cutlery was definately needed and some more mugs woud have been useful too. Some parts of the apartment hadn't seen a cloth/duster for a while!
Well appointed kitchen, large apartment, great location
Too easy for front door to not lock closed. Living areas were dirty; kitchen and table surfaces were only wiped over with a cloth leaving a film of grime. Lounge setting and rug were filthy. Unusual and clumsy set up of electrical system.
The keyless entrance.
No proper place to store luggage if arriving before check in.
Top class modern flat, all features of high quality.
We really liked the property (flat 9) and it was in a great location well within walking distance of the Castle and main centre. It was a very clean, modern appartment and catered for all our needs. We would definitely stay here again.
The car parking space was difficult to find and too far from the appartment. The doors slammed on all the apartments when shut.
location was great, easy walk to trams or buses. The facilities were updated and very clean.
noise factor - windows are single pain - you hear everything at all hours, as well door slam not matter what you do so constantly hearing from surrounding apartments. the washer?dryer set-up, washer yes, dryer not so much - single unit and drying socks took as long as jeans would have.
Modern fittings, well equipped spacious lounge and kitchen area
1 bathroom between 4 people and only 1 toilet which was in the bathroom. 2 double beds when we wanted a double and a twin. Quite noisy with traffic. Expensive for what we got.
Great location and very comfortable ... Almost a home from home.
Kitchen could be better stocked with basic equipment.
Very comfortable, good facilties and fantastic location.
Only one bathroom/toilet. Our fault should have checked but assumed form photos that there would have been more than one. Perhaps could put more details in the apartment details. Didn't cause a problem
Suboptimal cleaniness and too expensive
Very good apartments which are secure and located in an excellent area for sightseeing with all amenities close by
Near to Princes Street and Haymarket Station
Key code instead of key Clean Lots of coat hangers Supermarket very near Good large shower with two types of shower head, strong flow of water. Soft towels
Instructions for use of safe should be by the safe No plug in kitchen sink to wash dishes, should have a washing bowl if this is the case.
Location Ease of booking and subsequent management of booking Very well equipped Comfortable Spacious Good mattresses and pillows on beds Welcome information
Lots of space, beds were comfortable, shower was great, kitchen layout great. Apartment is close to everything - downtown Edinburgh, shopping, train stations, buses and trams, grocery stores. The pub across from the apartment, Au Bar, had the best food of the pubs we had eaten at. Handy having the code to get into the apartment, as we arrived at 9 PM at night. Nice welcome booklet. Had a drying rack for laundry - super as the combo washer/dryers aren't quick at drying clothes.
First night there, we had a beeping noise every 5 minutes - we phoned the caretaker and he thought it was a smoke detector. It turned out it was because the power was not turned on to the fridge, even though I thought I had turned it on. The light over the sink didn't work in the bathroom, and if you turned off the bathroom light in the bedroom you couldn't turn it on from the hall switch. The area outside was noisy and we had the windows open. Fridge should be left on all the time, or at least a few hours before a new guest arrives. Last guest had shut off the bathroom fan switch, and it took us an evening to figure that out.
