We were pleased with the whole building and the obvious effort to maintain its original character but provide comfortable apartments. The location, while not our first choice, turned out to be far more convenient since it was on bus routes which were exactly what we needed for our theatre bookings and we were able to walk easily to many places locally
The traffic noise from Tower Bridge Road was quite disturbing at first since our apartment was on that side of the building but since the bedroom was on the inside of the complex we were able to avoid most of the disturbance by closing the bedroom door. Surprisingly the trains were very little problem
Location, location, location. Compact but perfectly appointed kitchen.
So very noisy, don't expect to get any sleep. Also despite "air conditioning" it was ridiculously hot and impossible to open windows due to the noise of the road.
Cold shower, staff not wanting to do anything about the cold shower, expensive when you have to have a wash in the sink
Clean, spare look, modern appliances. Central location, efficient staff. Love to stay in a suite long term.
First time I've ever needed a manual to use something in a hotel. Also, why only sell a giant honking container of laundry soap to guests likely to need single-shots. Neither a big deal, but there's a 200 character minimum.
The apartment was well situated. Clean and at the right price The staff friendly and helpful
Loved the apartament architecture, location and generall mood, will def come back :)
If you are planning to stay only a few days it is fine. If traveling by tube use London bridge station rather than tower bridge and save yourself ten minutes walk.
The bed was a little uncomfortable and having the light switch for the bathroom on a panel of switches a distance from the bathroom was a pain if you get up on the night and don't want to disturb your partner!
- Excellent value for money. A hotel of similar quality would cost twice as much. - Central location in decent area with good links to rest of City. - Very clean, modern and nice apartment
- Poor ventilation means it is very hot on a warm day (will be visiting again in Winter though).
They even left me a bottle of wine as I'd mentioned we were in london for my bthday. Thanks
Was upgraded from a studio to a 1-bedroom apartment. Was allowed to check in at 2pm.
Unpleasant fishy smell outside door on arrival. Having to check out at 10am.
Apartments were lovely perfect size and ideal for a weekend away
The staff were lovely. Really friendly and attentive.
It was really hot in the room. No ac that worked. We found a small fan in cupboard but for the amount we paid I would have accepted AC. It really did make out stay very uncomfortable.
In view of other comments on adjoining box, I shall not comment on this section.
Ran out of toilet paper, sugar, milk tea and coffee very quickly on first day and had to ask reception for extra toilet paper. Had to phone several hours later again for tea/ coffee etc. sachets which they did not bring as [promised. They still charged £30 per night for extra bed. Floor scuffed, wash-hand basin loose and was not shiny clean--presumably with soap residue. Really a waste of money with poor service in return.
Location Room facilities and decor Value for money Tea making /cooking facilities Washing machine/dishwasher
Wifi did not work A bit noisy when trains running Got light early, as blinds did not shut out all the light.
Location, facilities and views. Modern and clean.
The fact that the room wasn't ready even at 6pm also the party that took place at 5am in the adjoining apartment and ruined my night's sleep and spoiled my holiday because I was tired. They also could have left a pint of milk in the fridge ( v stingy)
We were put in a different apartment than the one we apparently booked, supposedly in a mews complex away from the main road. However we offered an apartment on the first floor directly on Tower Bridge Road. It was the noisiest room you would ever want to attempt to sleep in; with continual traffic & street noise and in-front of a bus stop! The materials used to furnish did nothing to dampen the sound either. Terrible and expensive.
Loved the location! Were offered an upgrade on arrival and given a spacious, airy modern apartment. Had loads of room with all necessary appliances. Staff helpful and friendly. Have already recommended to a friend!
Great location. Lovely view was on 6th floor. Studio room is a decent size for a couple!
Room was very hot definitely needs air con in there. Floor was bit dirty. And check out time is annoying but all round a great stay.
Our apartment was located at the back, very close to railway line. Passing trains often disrupted our enjoyment of the hotel. This would have been a different experience if our apartment had been in front.
Size of room Staff were exceptional Closeness to all amenities Weekend rates Self catering
No air conditioning Somewhat noisy, as we had to have all the windows open Fridge and cooker need replacing
Central location, close to major sights and services. Just a walk to Tower Bridge. London Bridge tube and great restaurants along the Thames. Attentive, helpful staff on duty 24 hours. Excellent cafe on site.
Noise! I was given an apartment on the Tower Bridge Road side which is an extremely busy road. The apartments share an internal atrium which echos so also can be noisy at night. However, I do like the location so much I will insist on a apartment on the other side next time.
Clean space and great shower!! Needed it to cool down!!!
No air con, it's basic for any good hotel!!!!
Location Size Shops & restaurants Building very cool
Very Hot - No AC Road Noise Poorly equipped kitchen - hard to prepare children's meals
It was clean, tidy and the shower was great, if you need a kitchen the that was good too.
Basic, it wasn't where pictured but down the road in a modern office style building, which is find disappointing when you arrive get out of your taxi then have to drag your bags down the road to somewhere that doesn't look like the pictures. You can stay there but that's extra money......go figure
Confortable and everything that i needed.
