We have been to the Malvern Hills Hotels during the day for meals when we have been walking in the area. They allow dogs in the lounge bar which is a bonus for us. When we were looking for a hotel for a short break after new year we decided to stay over for 2 nights with our small dog so this seemed an obvious hotel. We will be staying over again sometime as we enjoyed our time there.

It becomes obvious from the point of booking in that the Hotel is run by a family and this showed throughout our stay. We were made to very very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, the room allocated to us was lovely and the food at both the evening meal and breakfast was of a high quality. The welcome and attention to detail in terms of the customer services was excellent

Superb location for my trip, good service & reasoble food, clean & pleasant room, nice big tv better than the average pub B&B and a pleasant change from the mainstream mid range impersonal premier/nova/jurys inn

The location, quality of four-poster bedroom, bar and restaurant On a snowy evening the heating in the bedroom took a long time to get the room to an acceptable temperature. As check-in was shown as from 13.00 (we arrived at around 14.30) the heat should have been up to a good level by then.

Rooms, food and service excellent. Frendly staff. Comfortable lounge bar good mix of traditional and modern decoration. Location excellent for views and walking. The English breakfast was the best I have ever experienced in any hotel worldwide. The only problems were that the wi-fi did not work in the room and it took some time for hot water to appear in the bathroom.

In a lovely spot for exploring the area, though we couldn't see the hills through the fog that descended! The food was very good, the deluxe room very lovely, but a bit chilly particularly the bathroom. It was quiet and peaceful at the hotel Just that the room wasn't that warm. Otherwise it was lovely

The rooms were attractive, had comfortable if slightly bouncy beds, the bathrooms were spacious and stylish with generous fluffy towels. Everything was spotless. In the bar the food was excellent and the serving staff were efficient, friendly and attentive. We spent a sleepless night at The Malvern Hills Hotel in Room 104. There were two major problems, heat and noise. The room was swelteringly hot (in mid November) with no control over the radiator. As a result we had to have the window wide open but directly below it there were two very noisy chiller units for the bar. The chiller fans were on for a minute, off for five minutes right throughout the night. Each time you started dropping off to sleep the fans came on again. On raising the matter with the receptionist and then the (young and inexperienced?) owner the following morning neither one of them saw fit to apologise. Their response was to give excuses that the bar needed chiller units and that none of the radiators had individual controls - the whole system was either on or off. Had either one of them apologised I wouldn't have seen fit to write this review. It is a real shame as their dealing with the matter tainted an otherwise perfect stay. If only they would sort out the noise from the chiller unit, fit individual controls on the bedroom radiators and send the senior management team on a customer service course they would be close to perfection.

We liked the hotel and our room very much as it had been re decorated and refitted with a new bathroom and it looked like the whole hotel had been refurbished as well. It had great views and had plenty of parking.

Great location, nice bar The room was very small for the price we paid - £110 per night. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel, the first time we had a much better room, but this time we were a bit disappointed

The bedding. Excellent clean crisp white sheet, but didn't have a top sheet only the Winter duvet. Would have prefered a sheet between us & the duvet as it was hot in the room.
