The Malvern Hills Hotel  

Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms and the restaurant was excellent. Very good breakfast too.

Small, friendly hotel in an excellent location for walking on the Malvern Hills. Room was well appointed with excellent bathroom facilities. Staff were very welcoming and we were shown to our room and meal timings etc explained. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of choice.

We chose to eat our evening meal at the hotel. Found the quality and quantity of the food did not match up to the prices.

All staff really frienfly and helpful, scenery and proximity to the hills brilliant. Food good.

I have otherwise enjoyed my stay and this was a return visit as we had a good time in December. However breakfast ended on a bit of a sour note as I stated on booking I was a vegan; no vegan breakfast provided but menu helpfully broken down so I asked if i should just pick vegan items and was told to do this. However I only received the same half tomato and few mushrooms that my husband received with his bacon, sausage so it was a really few sparse few items in the middle of a huge plate! I could have sent it back and asked for more but this would have meant eating after my husband so i filled up on the lovely fruit and toast! However I did feel I didnt get the same value for money. In future I will make my needs known when I order the breakfast.

Our stay was very brief unfortunately, the room was as good as anything I've stayed in below £100 a night and the food in the restaurant was exceleent, as was breakfast. Faultless!

Wonderful location

The food quality and selection had deteriorated from last year when we were there. We had to refuse payment for two dishes. More up-market variety and quality cooking needed. Descending to bar meals/a couple of specials is not good enough. The chef spent a lot of time in reception on the telephone. He looked unkempt and was not a good advertisement for this hotel.

The hotel was truly superb. Staff were friendly, helpful and plentiful. The room and bathroom were spotless and really comfortable. The food was exellent and the setting of the hotel was wonderful. Outside of the Ritz hotel in london we have never stayed in a more welcoming and well run Hotel, and,unlike the Ritz,great value for money,

Would be great if there was a gym!

Friendly and helpful service, good facilities, outstanding location.

Having stayed there previously, delighted with the consistent levels of service and cleanliness. Good, friendly staff who seem genuinely interested in the customer - and are happy to engage in 'easy' conversation. Choice, quantity and quality of food all excellent. No doubt will stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Would appreciate a 'lounge' type area to sit for a drink/chat, after eating, as the bar and restaurant areas are given over to seating around tables for eating.

We have been to the hotel before. We find it a relaxing place to stay. This time we took some friends who have not been before. They loved the hotel and want to go back. Its out in the country but near enough to local amenities when required. We will keep going back. The food is good and the standard of the rooms is excellent

Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean as were the public areas.

Very relaxing place for a break with stunning countryside literally outside your door. Room was very well appointed and food is fantastic and well priced. Staf are helpful, friendly and not pushy. Nearby Great Malvern has lots to offer including a great theatre. I would recomend this to a friend.

small point but room needs dimming or low level lighting as the fitted ones are abit harsh - also more comfy style sitting chairss would be a bonus. All else was great.
