The Abbey is an AA rated 4-star hotel, situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills in the Worcester countryside and is convenient for many attractions.
Score from 558 reviews Very good
The Dewdrop Inn is in Lower Broadheath, a 5 minute drive from Worcester. In a Georgian building it offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant with a bar and free parking.
Score from 220 reviews Wonderful
In one of Herefordshire’s prettiest villages, this charming inn offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.
Score from 278 reviews Excellent
This family-run town centre hotel was originally built in 1842 and has many historical features. Rooms are all of a high quality with en suite bathrooms and flat-screen TVs.
Score from 250 reviews Very good
Good facilities, friendly and efficient staff and very clean
Public areas very hot, no means of controlling temperature in bedroom. Evening meal disappointing.
I usually use a Premier Inn for business due to their consistency. However, I find the separate charge for wi-fi as a bit Ryannair. I therefore plumped for the Malvern Hills; free wi-fi a large room and bathroom and reasonable food in the bar.
Possibly the most comfortable hotel bed have ever slept in. Room had magnificent views
Thought the restaurant food was good. The staff there were very efficient both at the bar and in serving the food. Bed was very comfy-good efficient shower. Generally clean room. Nice breakfast.
no bath (room 103) no shaver plug in the bathroom excessive noise from floor above-ear defenders came in useful!
The location for exploring the Malvern Hills esp. British Camp is unsurpassed. Our room had excellent views of the iron age fort, and fantastic access
The only negative is the heating was cranked up, with no way of controlling it in the room, coupled with heavy duvets, we found the sleep stiflingly hot. It is a shame as it is the only negative thing I have to say. The rooms need to have individual controls
Fantastic location and views Lovelly room
Excellent evening meal, even though the restaurant was very busy.
The location is beautiful, the hotel itself is attractive, clean and homely and the staff were very friendly and professional
For snacks, groceries, toiletries, the nearest shop was a 10 minute drive away
We stayed for one night. Staff were most helpful. We had a meal in the lounge bar (surrounded by old oak panelling) that was very nice. Breakfast was also spot on. We arrived in the evening so had no idea of the views that awaited us in the morning, pretty nice. The hotel is ideally situated for walking, with some breath taking views just a few paces away. The room was newly refurbished, with very deep piled carpet. Bed was nice and firm. Heating was on full blast, which made the paint smell strong.
Small moan...the smell of recently applied oil based gloss paint, not sure we could have spent another night with that and having the windows open meant that we heard the traffic on the road outside the hotel (even though it's out in the countryside cars past at all hours). And just one more little thing was the outside lights that illuminate the hotel seem to be left on all night which doesn't help sleeping if you have the windows open and the curtains drawn slightly back to let air in. Maybe they could turn a few off after midnight??? Having said all that...we would stay again but maybe ask for a different room :-)
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room, good quality food and good value for money. Would recommend it.

Excellent choice of breakfast options and good evening meal choices too. You can walk straight into the hills from the front door. Friendly, helpful staff.
Bed very springy and not at all comfortable.
> Room Size > Nice Bathroom > Cleanliness > Friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Staff friendly, good beer
The staff was very friendly and helpful. As my husband got sick, we could stay in the room a bit longer after check-out time without paying extra. Breakfast was really good and well-served. Good location for hiking.
Good Location for exploring area. Excellent food Friendly & helpful staff
Very good meal in restaurant, attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. Good location for a stroll up to the fort. One of party was gluten and dairy free, restaurant and breakfast staff accommodated without problems. Room was well furnished and comfortable. Front desk was perfect.
Friendly staff Great restaurant Clean and Tidy Large comfortable room and bathroom Reasonable price Perfect location for walking on Malvern Hills
the location is an excellent base to explore the area and enjoy some walking on the Malverns. The room was very comfortable and clean and we both enjoyed excellent meals. we will certainly visit again when we are in the area
I disliked very little. I was awoken at about 5am by a vehicle on the nearby road. However this was more due to me being a light sleeper rather than any proper traffic noise
We had a wonderful stay, it was our anniversary so we wanted somewhere special, the Malvern hills hotel was brilliant room was excellent at was our whole stay, will definetly being going back .
N/a everything was excelent no down side
Superb location at the base of British Camp Hill right on the footpaths. Spacious twin room with bath as well as shower. Plenty of hot water. Good dinner and wine. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.
Shower wasn't particularly good. Room too hot even with radiator turned off.
The waitress was extremely helpful. The manager was accommodating as we needed an early start. The food was very good.
The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The staff were very pleasant. The food in the restaurant was fantastic.
Unfortunately I was kept awake all night due to strange noises, which sounded like a car racing game on a computer when went on all through the night and then stopped at about 7.30am.
Loved the cleanliness, and fresh layout inside. Food was delicious and the staff were the friendliest people!!
I wish the hotel was in walking distance to the little local town. I would have liked to have been able to have a wander around for a couple of hours. The location feels quite secluded.
We booked the hotel in order to attend an Evening Wedding Party nearby but were delighted with our short stay there. The four poster room was amazing and one of the cleanest that we have ever stayed in! Lovely walks close by, warm and friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere throughout the hotel and a wonderful breakfast. Plan to return when, hopefully for a longer stay!
Nothing to dislike, we didn't eat in the hotel apart from breakfast but that was good and plentiful.
