Smart, spotless, welcoming, a small hotel disguised as a b & B. Dogs made welcome, convenient to motorway.

The bed was comfortable and the hotel was spotless. We arrived about 9.45 p.m. 0 about 15 minutes before the final booking-in time but had rung ahead to say we were running late. We were met with a rather abrupt "welcome".

No ordinary B&B, more like a good quality hotel. Owners not on site. Spotless, welcoming, easy access to garden for dog/s, house keeper very attentive, great value for money, well decorated, lots of hot water.

Exceptional cleanliness and service for a budget hotel The bed was very poor, inexpensive with springs that could be felt through the mattress filling!

Suited out purpose, well located for visiting family in High Wycombe. Prepared to accept and welcome well behaved dog by providing ground floor room with access to small garden area. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice brought to the room at agreed time. Everything was very clean. Flora was as usual very helpful and polite during our stay. Would recommend Malvern House to family and friends.

Malvern House was immaculate. Furnishings were pleasant but not luxurious . The housekeeper , Flora, was a lovely lady and clearly wanted to make the stay as pleasant as possible . Far better option than many hotel chains I have stayed with. Pricing very reasonable. Highly recommended. I will definitely return. Maybe closures on some room doors could be adjusted as doors slammed hard when a few guests returned late. Not a major issue. Other than that very small issue no negatives at all.

I was a little anxious about this hotel after reading some of the reviews, but I found it to be really quite lovely. I had a top floor room which was impeccably clean and fresh with a basic but fundamentally modern decor. Flora the housekeeper was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and convenient, breakfast was plentiful (I didn't mind choosing the evening before) and there were plenty of places to eat for evening meals. The skylight window in my room didn't close, which meant there was a bit of traffic noise.

More of a b&B. Clean cheap diy environment. Small cramped but have made effort with fittings and fixtures. Basic but solid breakfast offering. Could not access the "free" WiFi. Drains smell during my stay. Cramped.

Confortable bed. I asked for just fruit and yougart for breakfast and I saw 3 shrivled up apples. I asked for instant coffee and received a pot of cold coffee. Ithen asked the housekeeper for some fresh coffee one cup of boling water and one teaspoonful of instant coffee was a reasonable request I finally got it. Crossants were a bit on the small size to say the least which my husband asked for.
