The gym and spa facilities are very good. The young lady on the reception when we arrived was excellent, friendly and most helpful.
The room was located over a generator of some sort that was constant throughout the night, as an ex serviceman currently receiving treatment for PTSD I can honestly say the noise was like a form of torture.
Staff are always nice and very obliging, spa facilities are first class particularly the Saunas, tea tray is very welcoming, and Malvern Water a nice touch. Close to shopping and a lovely pub, the Swan is nearby and has brilliant food.
"Elephants" in the room above! but hardly the hotels fault.
(See below comment) luckily I approached one of the younger members of the team and questioned this who was happy to offer a 12 noon checkout instead of 11, offering an extra hour. Very helpful. But staff we're inconsistent. Good breakfast too.
We visited for a wedding so didn't use the spa at all on the Saturday, yet we we're told we couldn't use the spa from 11 on Sunday! We questioned this saying that we'd paid for at least some spa use but the member of staff snapped at us and wasn't budging. The spa was empty and was very stressful for a spa!
Relaxing in the hydrotherapy pool, peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of work, and motorway madness.
going back on the motor way!!!!
The relaxation is beyond bliss
The wifi strength is poor, but hey, this place is about health and relaxation so put your phone down and float on the bubbles in the malvern spring water filled outdoor heated hydrotherapy pool
The facilities at the hotel were very good, the spa and the gym were excellent. Rooms were clean and tidy but the furniture where the fridge use to be needs to be updated, big holes left in the wardrobe and fittings.
Bar area and restaurant were very limited in space and seating area.Sound proofing between the floors would eliminate the noise from the people on the above floor, very noisy when people walking around.
The accommodation, pool, saunas, therapies, etc. etc. were marvellous. Malvern offers super opportunities for lovely walks nearby. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The location of the hotel is certainly not very picturesque. Being very conscious of health issues, I was not happy to be sleeping and in a therapy pool so close to a high voltage power line. We were disappointed in the value for money of the dinner in the restaurant.
Fantastic treatments in the spa, great spa facilities, restaraunt was brilliant food great and cleanliness in the restaraunt very good.
The room interior didn't seem to reflect the up-market spa facilities. The shower was dirty, the duvet had marks on it as did the matress protecter. Other than that a brilliant place to relax and chill out and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and being spoilt!
SPA treatments, food, room, the additional bottled water in the room.
asked for fresh milk as advertised and did not receive it. were ignored in the brasserie for long time as staff preferred serving SPA guests with drinks. No complimentary bread roll as advertised. Royalty card was not offered automatically when checked in and out.
Brasserie staff extremely helpful and friendly. Novelty of different hydro experiences was enjoyed too!
The spa area is tired and a need to request some of the hydrotherapy stations to be activated was irritating. The corridor on the first floor smelt unpleasant and some of the basic amenities had been forgotten. Elemis products used in the spa, but some really inferior brand of products placed in the room .
Staff friendliness and welcome
Just about everything. it is not a hotel. It is a gym cum spa with smelly worn out facilities pool overcrowded and tiny. Spa treatments need to be booked well in advance. Very disappointing.
The spa's outside pool was amazing it was very relaxing and made my skin feel very soft. It also looked very nice, like in the photographs on the web
The location, it would have been perfect if it was surrounded in nice grounds to walk in.
Spa and comfortable room...view of Malverns
It's on an industrial estate...but we knew that when we booked
Pool Food Restaurant staff Night porter Treatments
Room standard poor Issues with bathroom No Wifi in room or internet Room & restaurant decor poor Telephone manner of some staff
Very comfy bed Treatments were lovely Night porter couldn't be more helpful
Location, in a business park right on the main road Consequently the view from our room was mundane When speaking to management they were rude, unhelpful, stuck up, belittling and gave incorrect information regarding after care from treatments in the spa Someone to take your breakfast order was 15-20 minutes
staff very friendly and helpful, spa facilities and pool great-good value with booking.com offer
breakfast wasn't as high standard as the evening meal, quite small portions, and service a bit slapdash compared to the rest of the experience
Bed too hot
The wonderful relaxing spa water, comfortable bedroom, helpful friendly staff, our 10th visit in 12 months.
Having to leave.
I thoroughly recommend the spa, the pools are define. The treatments are heavenly and all the staff, reception, restaurant and spa staff are friendly and helpful. Totally recommended
Great staff and facilities.
Thought evening dinner choice poor, stayed 3 nights but only ate in one. However the food on that night was excellent.
It has a heated pool with Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and treatment lounge which is used as Bar after the treatment hours. Can get very relaxed there. The room are neat and clean
Quite business like, located in a business park, if you don't have a car, it's not easy to get around. Although there're McDonals, a few other food chains and supermarkets nearby. It's nowhere close to the downtown
The Spa area.
Terrible location for such a potentially great place. Located on local business centre on outskirts of town. This place is centred around the Spa and not particularly as a Hotel.
The staff were really helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help. Room facilities were good, although my iron had a crack in it. The spa and pool facilities are excellent. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast.
The robes were very old and ripped. Iron had a crack in it so couldn't use. But these were very small issues of what was an overall very pleasant stay.
the hydrotherapy pool is amazing! the staff very polite and helpful
the small bar area. as a hotel guest there was nowhere to sit and relax apart from your room on an evening
the spa facilities were superb. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Really clean
We stayed at the Malvern for two nights. we were doing other things so didn't make full use of the spa. so probably wasn't the best choice of hotel for us.the food was cooked to absolute perfection and couldn't fault the food at all. The service however left a lot to be desired. We had to ask for bread rolls to go with our starters. Also for the price of the main courses I think its a bit cheeky to charge extra for potatoes, veg or salad. My husband ordered cheese and biscuits, they bought the cheese then asked if he wanted biscuits to go with it!! At breakfast on the second morning we did not get a cooked breakfast, they took our order for tea and coffee said they would come back to do our order. we waited over fifteen minutes and noticed that other people that had sat down after us was having their breakfasts served to them. I counted the girl come out from the kitchen 12 times but she didn't bother to return to our table. So in the end we just got up and left. We were very disappointed with the service to say the least
