The wonderful relaxing spa water, comfortable bedroom, helpful friendly staff, our 10th visit in 12 months.
Having to leave.
I thoroughly recommend the spa, the pools are define. The treatments are heavenly and all the staff, reception, restaurant and spa staff are friendly and helpful. Totally recommended
Great staff and facilities.
Thought evening dinner choice poor, stayed 3 nights but only ate in one. However the food on that night was excellent.
It has a heated pool with Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and treatment lounge which is used as Bar after the treatment hours. Can get very relaxed there. The room are neat and clean
Quite business like, located in a business park, if you don't have a car, it's not easy to get around. Although there're McDonals, a few other food chains and supermarkets nearby. It's nowhere close to the downtown
The Spa area.
Terrible location for such a potentially great place. Located on local business centre on outskirts of town. This place is centred around the Spa and not particularly as a Hotel.
The staff were really helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help. Room facilities were good, although my iron had a crack in it. The spa and pool facilities are excellent. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast.
The robes were very old and ripped. Iron had a crack in it so couldn't use. But these were very small issues of what was an overall very pleasant stay.
the hydrotherapy pool is amazing! the staff very polite and helpful
the small bar area. as a hotel guest there was nowhere to sit and relax apart from your room on an evening
Breakfast was good, clean room, good AC in room, staff friendly.
Carpets looked unclean throughout hotel, messed up spa reservation, would have been nice to use spa after check out - but chargeable! Requested early check in yet our room was the last to be prepared. Beds uncomfortable.
advance notice of gluten free required but no sausages provided.also no beans on breakfast choice. there should be a seperate area for guests on arrival away from robed spa day visitors.uncomfortable.
Excellent staff, lovely spa area with plenty of space & a very relaxed atmosphere, thoroughly recommend.
Beds very comfortable Food tasty (albeit limited menu) Staff polite Very clean apart from cobwebs in bar area.
Reception confusing - thought it was the spa entrance! Location (although handy for retail park) Nowhere to sit comfortably and relax after dinner - bar area unwelcoming in regards to furnishings Poor phone signal downstairs
Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Theybeven reopened the kitchen for us as we checked in just after it shut. The food was good and the facilities are excellent. The Spa is wonderfuly, particularly the outdoor spa pool which is excellent especially if the weather is nice. Malvern is also a wonder scenic place and well worth visiting if you have never been. This is definitely the best hotel I have stayed in in the Malvern area.
The only fault I can possibly think of is the location might disappoint some. Malvern is a wonderful town but the hotel is located on the edge of town at the back of a retail park like a travel lodge. This was perfect for us as we were in the area for events in different locations on consecutive nights and then had an extra night to enjoy the Spa, however if you were specifically looking for a hotel in central Malvern or a country escape this is awkwardly stuck between the two. That said if you are just visiting for somewhere to stay in Malvern or for a Spa experience then this will not matter and I would highly recommend it. I certainly wouldn't let it detract from the fact this is one of the best hotels in the Malvern area. I will definitely be returning here.
Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic gym and pool area.
Not enough brochures and info on the local area, although members of staff were really helpful with suggestions. Gym opens too late at weekends.
Spa facilities were good. staff were friendly - room was clean
Resturant was uncomfortable and food was nothing special so we are out every night.
Food was exceptional - from daytime snacks, to evening meal (quite amazing tuna starter then monk fish). Huge thumbs up to the Chef. Reception staff very friendly and accommodating.
The web site states the spa is set in stunning surroundings (or words to that effect) - to arrive at an industrial estate was a complete shock. Paid for early't arrival 1st day and could only use spa facilities until 11 2nd day - so you don't even get a full 24 hrs spa use. Have stayed at many spas and was totally underwhelmed by this one. It was my "last" treat before I go in for back surgery so was gutted. As we didn't book treatments ahead we could not even get a basic anything. Not for me I'm afraid. Waste of money and could have stayed at a decent non spa hotel cheaper with better facilities.
the relaxation room and spa outside area were lovely, the reception staff were helpful breakfast good
the resaturant staff were useless took 30mins to get a glass of wine and didnt even come back to get my food order so ate somewhere else. my room carpet had not been hoovered properly , breadcrumbs, and orange pips and make up blusher . 2 hairs in the bath
Facilities, quality of food
Some items on menu not available, billing administration - wrong names on accounts, some items missing from account, some items on the account which should not have been there
Food very good
Swimming pool to hot. I know its a spa but to have such a large pool that hot is strange
Free mineral water in rooms is extremely good idea. Spa facilities good and staff goes an extra mile and is polite and pleasant. Gym is fantastic and the whole atmosphere in hotel is relaxed. Will come back.
Breakfast selection for those who like me do not eat full english breakfast is poor. Better to opt out of breakfast. Spa facilities needs deep cleaning and it took long time to clear glasses and other mess after some people.
The hydro pool is to die for! Had a really good meal in the restaurant and a fabulous massage before leaving!
The outside of the building does nothing for the spa. Take no notice of the building as the inside is great.
Pools and sauna area pleasant and relaxing. Staff helpful, rooms clean and quiet.
Heated towel rail not working, so towels and swimsuits didn't dry. Breakfast fresh and good, but more fresh fruit would be nice.
The staff here are exceptional, they really cannot do enough for you. The decor was lovely and the food in the restaurant was if a very high standard. The gym was well equipped and spacious. The spa facilities are good, but not exeptional and i was disappointed that there wasnt a pool you could actually swim in. Also some of the showers and foot spas looked a bit tired. But on the whole a very relaxing and positive experience.
Friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfasts, great pool.
Location, Malvern is great but hotel out of town on an industrial estate. Everything a bit clinical and sparse looking, especially garden which was completely without anything beautiful.
We had a good room with views of the hills. The facilities were excellent. Outdoor swimming before breakfast was a bonus.
Nothing except I had not realised it was situated on a business park but that did not matter in the least.
Excellent spa facility and very good food. Staff particularly on reception and in restaurant were also very good.
It would be better if there was more separation between the bar and restaurant.
