Staff went above and beyond to help with ensuring our surprise party went ahead with no hitches. All staff members were consistently happy to help and nothing was too much. Food during meal times and the buffet for the party was delicious! We had our dog with us and he was made to feel so welcome. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

Needs more info on parking facilities for guests. We managed to park across the road from the pub but weren't sure if we could park outside the rooms or not. Breakfast was disappointing in the pub. Wished we had had more time to check out the area but our ferry was delayed so we arrived late. To their credit the chef waiting for us to arrive so we could have an evening meal though.

I enjoyed the road from Tarbet to Garelochhead and our stay at the Anchor Inn. The spot may not be the nicest but our evening/night was really nice staying at the Anchor Inn after a good walk in the Highlands.

Garelochhead is not a place you would think of as being suitable for tourism, but it is nice and quiet despite there being a naval base close by. It is ideally located for exploring the wonderful Scottish countryside.

Amazing scenery with a beautiful loch with boat's on it to the view of the mountains including the cobbler insures lovely photo opportunities all around you in very relaxing surrounding's. Friendly local people & shop's within walking distance including Chinese takeaway with tasty food.

Had an evening meal that was excellent quality and value. My room was compact but very nicely decorated and comfortable. I was looking out on to back of hotel but it was quiet (November) and I didn't have any noise from beer garden. Comfortable bed with good bedding. Good electric shower. Fantastic cooked breakfast. Special mention to Chris the bartender who made us feel so special on our 25th wedding Anniversary by suprising us with prosecco with our breakfast.
