Really only used the hotel due to its proximity to the railway station and the airport terminal. Hardly able to review Hale but would advise anyone with limited mobility that there is a good walk involved...partly in the sheltered 'corridor' and then on the open to get to the Ibis Hotel

Needed a nice sized room with a couple of double beds for self and daughter as she had early morning flight. Great staff, organised her a 4:30am shuttle bus even though just a few hundred yards away. We had booked a local restaurant as other daughter studies at Man Uni so can't comment on food other than menu in lift seemed comprehensive for most airport hotel traveller requirements. Passing bar and restaurants both looked more than pleasant for an airport hotel

One of the nicest hotel I've stayed in, best bed ever in the room super comfy, tidy hotel and excellent location for the terminals, the only disappointment was the price of food at meal, especially the sirloin steak at £45 per steak and had the cheek to charge extra for the chips and sides unbelievable!!! I would and will stay at this hotel again but definitely won't be paying for food there I will go out from the hotel for food.

Great location for airport, no transfer needed.

Great location for airport, no transfer needed. Lovely hotel with a touch of luxury, even has a nice gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Rather expensive for one night but worth it for the convenience when taking an early flight.

Only thing I liked was convenience to airport.

Only thing I liked was convenience to airport. Otherwise I didn't like anything..Not the room, not the view, not the amenities, or lack of. Price outragious. Had just stayed in a luxery hotel with spa and fitness center, fab food and lounge, fantastic room and amenities for half the price of a basic hole in the wall with a view of cars.

I arrived at 3.35am after breaking down on the motorway.

I arrived at 3.35am after breaking down on the motorway. I was greeted by a lovely smile from the gentleman behind the desk. The charge was waived for the car park as I only had three hours until I picked my son up from the airport. I was able to have 2hrs sleep in a lovely room and have an amazing breakfast. Outstanding hotel and staff! So clean and ALL the staff speak and smile.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I've never stayed in airport hotels before and had a certain perception of them but due to my flight to Dublin being cancelled I had to stay a night in Manchester. My friends friend recommended this hotel for me and so glad she did! I will begin by praising Amir. He is incredible and would put a smile on anyone's face. A real pleasure to deal with. The reception and waiting staff were also super helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure all is well. Cozy bedroom. Good free breakfast.

All the staff we came across were really helpful and friendly. The leisure club facilities were very good, as expected and the electronic locker key pads worked very well. The choice of items for the continental breakfast was generally excellent, but see below for my particular dietary issues. It's great to be offered a good range of room service meals at all hours. Location of the hotel is excellent - we were visiting various family members in the Greater Manchester area, and it was convenient for all our trips.

We needed to stay close to Manchester Airport because we had an early morning flight. This is only 7 minutes away from the airport and was a perfect location. Easy to find. We were greeted by friendly staff at check-in, and the room was immaculate along with tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast had that much choice for hot and cold food/drink. Cereal, cooked breakfast, fruit, toast, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice and even milk. You have to pay for parking, which is £12 I would recommend this hotel

It's our kind of place - we just love it. We stay here to travel to Old Trafford for cricket & proximity to Manchester airport. It's comfortable, welcoming with a great local atmosphere, a huge beer garden & it's a Robinsons house. We used to live in Wythenshawe which isn't far from Hale Barns, plus I kept a horse in Hale years ago, so we know the area well. Hale Barns has not changed too much over the years &, although we live in North Wales, we still have yearnings for the Cheshire countryside!

I stayed at The Crowne Plaza for night (picking up family from airport). It was modern, sparkling clean, all staff were courteous, professional and friendly. Restaurant food was excellent. I would definitely stay there again. It was great to be able to park at the hotel too.

The staff were friendly and cared about our comfort and schedules, even letting us preorder breakfast and opening the restaurant a bit early so we had plentyof time to catch our flight. This will be my go to hotel from Now on when flying out of Manchester.

The hotel was very close to the airport, which was very convenient. We also dropped off our rental car at the same location (Hertz), which was a bonus. We definitely recommend this hotel for a 2 night or overnight stay before your next flight.
