Comfort of beds
Too expensive when compared with other Manchester hotels of the same star rating
The room and breakfast
The reception staff and hotel staff Concierge was excellent
Closeness to cornation and museum. Place outside for smokers and non smokers. Breakfast over the water.
Location, Decor & breakfast!
having to pay to park my car when i had paid for a two night stay
Location and friendly staff. Comfortable furnishings. Good breakfast.
More 3star plus than 4star. No late bar. Wi-Fi had to be paid for then deducted from final bill! Fixed-head shower.
Location great ,Staff particularly I liked . All of them from cleaners to managers. loved the wooden ceilings. Really comfortable beds. Breakfast really lovely good choice of foods
Airconditioning in one room .too noisy to use at night so Hot.
Just so liked this amazing transformation of a warehouse into a hotel. It was so spacious, even upstairs there was so much room. Loved the wooden planked ceilings in the rooms and the corridors were so big and bright and airy. We stayed here on Saturday 20th September, travelled up from Southampton to do the Coronation Street Tour. Ate in the restaurant, excellent. Breakfast on Sunday, superb. Shame we had to check out and return to Southampton. The guy in reception was lovely and so too was the guy in Concierge. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much, Jan, Mark & Sinead.
Staff Bar Bedrooms Breakfast
Location was excellent short walking distance to opera house and coronation st tour.
Expensive in hotel restaurant but lots of choice within 5 min walk
The hotel was good location
Limited food menu
Hotel was in a very good location and the facilities were excellent. Staff were very helpful and polite.
The price of the drinks in the hotel bar were outrageous.
The hotel itself was beautiful and in a very good location.
Rooms were very dated. The room I was in the windows wouldn't close and over the course of our 1 night stay my partner had to remove 7 large spiders from the room. Greeted in carpark by parking attendent who parked our car but didn't tell us the cost. No free wifi
upon arrival you are greeted with a courteous welcome the receptionists are friendly and helpful the breakfasts are very tasty and the ambience is lovely
having to leave !!
Saw human waste on toilet seat, reported this to a member of staff who was truly petrified! But didn't see a member of cleaning team insight. Poor chap had to clean it off with tissues, safe to say we didn't use the bathroom!
Bed was comfy option of an upgrade
Price of the parking view of the building site
Not free internet & ci Staff not very friendly! (More than 200 hotel-nights/year give me some experience)
Proximity to Opera House Theatre. Décor in hotel. Friendliness of staff. Bedrooms and bed.
The staff both front of house and bar
The beds I didn't have one really comfortable sleep and I stayed a week! The beds are too old. When I asked one person if I could change rooms she said all the beds were the same!
King suite was awesome. Best bed ;-)
Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel whilst on business in Manchester. Lovely room & a great atmosphere - helpful staff.
Wi-Fi came free with my booking via booking.com however had I booked the stay 'direct' the wi-fi costs would have been astronomical!
All staff were very helpful and we recommend the king suite for a truly special stay.
The staff were lovely and the location was good. The room was very stylish and comfortable.
No coffee making facilities in room
From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. Staff were efficient, polite and very approachable. The room was spotless. The concierges were especially helpful and efficient. The bar and restaurant had a lovely ambiance. If you want to ensure your stay in Manchester is special; choose this hotel. Thank you to each member of staff. A genuine high level of professionalism from all.
My only criticism is that the wi-fi was not of the best quality.
