Holiday Inn Manchester West  

The staff were excellant and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We will return again when visiting.

Tea and coffee facilities in the room were not as clean as expected.

It was a convenient ten minutes walk from where I was needed.

The room was nice and clean

The food was rubbish and the lack of choice was unbelievable. The staff were rude. And I had to wait 30 minutes to ask one a simple question. For the amount I payed to stay there I'm not very impressed at all and I will not be recommending the holiday inn to anyone

Floor boards were very noisy and kept me awake most of the night when people were walking past. Other guests and staff also very noisy when arriving and leaving the hotel (my room was above the entrance)

Sunday breakfast was excellent.

Paid for executive suite, bed very very hard, suite was not clean looking (old tatty decorated) The hotel was smack bang in the middle of an industrial estate which is next to a rundown council estate.

This was one of the most friendly and helpful hotels i have ever stopped at. They should be commended on their friendly attitude and i would have no hesitation staying here again.

Close to Salford University where we were visiting.

Internet didn't work. Heat didn't 't work. Movie channel didn't work. Bedside lamp didn't work.

nice hotel 10mins walk to city centre excellent shopping and restaurants

Wireless didn't work and hasn't for some time acording to some other guests. Couldnt get emails even with a cable Food quality below standard and expensive,

Service in restaurant was shockingly poor. Despite the restaurant being very quiet (the other guests must have known something we didn't) half the items on the menu were not available and we waited 50 mins for our food to arrive.

Close to centre and had parking

King room- Did not feel like a king room, old style hair dryer , mattress old and very tired ( lots of roll together). No biscuits with tea/coffee. Towels old and very scratchy, twin room - tiny

We thought the staff and the cleanliness at the hotel was excellen. The breakfast was really good and overall good value for money.

There needs to be a sign at the end of the road pointing out the location of the hotel. The road is easily missed.

the room was very comfortable ,and the hotel was bright and clean the staff were very helpful and the bar had a tv which i enjoyed whilst having a drink, when asked the staff were all helpful and if they didnt know what was asked of them then they would ask another member of staff .

there were 2 things about the hotel that we didnt like , firstly having not been to familiar with manchester we realised that we were of the beaten track so to speak, and also housekeeping entered our room on the saturday morning without knocking first and we complained on checking out

The service at Manchester Holiday Inn west was great, all of the staff members were lovely, if you asked them for anything they helped you out, direction or ordering a taxi for you and always smiling and being happy, I would recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to manchester :)
