Lovely owner, excellent location, outstanding breakfast!
A shower cap in the bathroom would have been really nice.
I liked the rooms and the breakfast the next morning was great!
that there was no plugin by a mirror for the hair dryer
The hotel was lovely the owners were wonderful and couldn't do enough to help the hotel was spotless I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and we will be booking again. The owners are both ex chefs so the breakfast was one of the best we have had. The shops were within walking distance as was the pub.
The owners were friendly and helpful. A very clean, comfortable room and the breakfast was really good. A lovely rear garden for sitting out in, if the weather is good. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
The pillows weren't particularly comfortable.
Well-appointed rooms Clean Beautiful gardens Host/hostess very accommodating Washcloths!!
Bed hard-not comfortable for me, resulting in a poor nights sleep No place for refrigerated items/ice for cold drinks

Nick was a great host. Wonderful breakfast, in a beautiful breakfast room, overlooking a beautiful garden. He even had vegetarian sausage for us for breakfast. Within walking distance to the town, which has nice little pubs and cafes.
It was a little hard to find as our GS didn't recognize the address.
Very convenient to the Stonehenge, staff are friendly. Room is clean and quiet.
Location, quiet, breakfast.
I would be picky to criticise anything.
Very handy for Stonehenge. Nice comfortable place.
No shower in bathroom.
Breakfast was good. Room good size. Closeness to Stonehenge.
Bathroom quite small. Limited facilities in Amesbury and Salisbury a much nicer town.
clean, comfy and convient to stonehenge and amesbury
Location is great, breakfast was even better. Garden is lovely, and we really enjoyed that there's a sidewalk outside that goes into town, and with a path looping out along the Avon if you want to walk it as well. Wish we had more time to spend and enjoy the area.
Minor quibbles at most. I'm not a fan of the separate hot/cold taps in our bathroom (Kipling), and the floor was a bit creaky. We felt as though any movement would bother everyone else if we were up late or came back late. Again, just minor issues far outweighed by every other great aspect of our stay.
- Very nice environment and backyard - Full English breakfast served by very pleasant hosts
- No air conditionning, although that is usually not a problem in this part of the world and it didn't bother us.
The owners were friendly, welcoming, and helpful to all our questions about the area. The breakfast was delicious, the room was comfortable with a TV and Wifi, and the location was maybe 10 minutes from Stonehenge. The gardens in the back were beautiful, and if we would have been there longer, we would have enjoyed relaxing by the pond.
breakfast friendly people early start to stonhenge Good recommendation on where to eat.
Excellent cooked breakfast, perfect location for Stonehenge.
The water pressure in the shower was not great.
I loved the garden with its beautiful flowers & peaceful atmosphere. The room I stayed in was immaculate & comfortable. The staff were friendly & helpful.
Everything was to our liking. Breakfast was lovely and refreshing, rooms very clean and comfortable. We could not fault the place... fantastic value... we would use again if we needed to stay in the area. Thank you.
5 miles from Stonehenge. Very pretty rooms - especially Bronte room with garden view. Hosts were helpful and friendly without being intrusive.
There are stairs to all rooms. It was abnormally hot and humid the night we were there so a couple small fans to just have on hand would have been great. There is a gorgeous big deep tub in Tennyson room but my husband and I have some mobility limitations and we had to shower in my sister 's room because we couldn't get in and out of tub. Most people would love it. But something to be aware of.
Excellent place to stay
The owners provide a very efficiently run B&B - it is meticulously clean and beautifully presented with excellent decor throughout. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the rear garden. Breakfasts were very good but could have included some fresh fruit. The hosts provide a good range of information about the local area
