Staff were excellent and very attentive. Bed was comfy, good nights sleep. Hotel clean & modern Shower was excellent
Would have liked kettle in room to make tea
5 minutes walk to bond street station alot of quality restaurant & cafés around the hotel , vey helpful staff , room well furnished and clean
The standard room is too small as usual in London actually it's good for single not double & unfortunately they don't have twin bed just double one. If you are couple go to the deluxe room.
Single room was perfect for my needs. It was small but surprisingly nice (bed linens, roomy bathroom, nicely decorated).
Wi-Fi was spotty, TV screen was messed up (I didn't mind the TV problem all that much - wasn't a big deal to me).
I liked where we were situated right in the heart of London. The hotel was tastefully decorated. The staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. The concierge (and there were a few) were attentive. It was a classy hotel without being pretentious. The high tea was excellent non stop bubbly for two hours best value for money in London. It made my special birthday Special
We liked the Tassimo Coffee Machine but had difficulty working it. The room could have been a little bigger although there were bigger rooms available but we would have had to pay an extra £24 each. These are minor details though
Noisy party in a function room below our floor. The hotel deny responsibility for this room, although it is connected by an internal door. Managed to get to sleep at 2.30, had to be up at 7.30 for a business meeting. TV broken on arrival, coffee machine didn't work, wake up call didn't materialise as booked. Wouldn't stay here again.
Reasonably priced hotel considering the prime location. Small but very comfortable rooms good shower and bath Good coffee machine to hand.
No free tea or water on offer in room?
The door to the bath room is made of glass. If one uses those facilities during the night the bright light wakes up your room mate.
We asked for and payed a superior double room. They tried to give us a standard single room.
The location was perfect, loved the staff and they were helpful .. Room was clean and modren
resturant lacking, breakfast not good staff all right ,quality mediocre
good service good location near everything
the room is too small to hold 2 large luggage
The hotel was in an excellent location. The room was small but very clean and nicely decorated. We got a deal for our stay but I wouldn't have paid more for such a small room. Staff were helpful and efficient.
Despite the fact that we had prepaid our bill in full, we were required to give our card details and a £50 'holding' amount. This was in case we spent anything extra in the hotel. Discretionary service charges were added to the bill in the bar and again on checkout. We prefer to decide for ourselves if and how much we tip, and to make sure it goes directly to the staff.
Welcoming and totally efficient staff. Our compact room was comfortable, clean and ideal for an overnight stay. We would probably upgrade if staying for a longer period.
Location restaurant special offers and discount for guests Cleanliness
Small standard room No room to unpack 2 large suitcases There should be signs outside the lifts to say which floor they go Shower has so many levers and knobs it is difficult to decide which one to use No kettle for tea making
- location ideal for seeing London - friendly staff - rooms quiet and well equipped
- would have liked tea making facilities in room, not everyone likes coffee
Lift was slow!
moderate price/quality noise in the street at 7am on Sunday
Staff were extremely helpful, willing to do anything to make sure you had everything you needed. Really glamorous first impression on arrival in terms of the actual hotel itself, room very clean. Attention to detail e.g. toiletries, free wifi, coffee machine in room was a lovely idea! Location excellent 5-10 minute walk to all of the shops, selfridges very near by!
Wish there had been a swimming pool and sauna, although if on a city break or out and about most of the stay this isn't really necessary!
I love the location of this hotel, just behind Selfridges in a quiet street. The staff are lovely, the rooms are of a high standard (though some are small), and there's a lovely - quiet - bar that does fantastic cocktails. Marylebone High Street is just up the street from the hotel and is filled with lovely shops and restaurants. Special mention to the concierge desk, which was really friendly.
I had no negative experience at all at this hotel. The room (202) was on the small side but I was travelling on my own so it didn't matter.
Hotel was in a perfect location for shopaholics, being only at most five minutes walk to the middle of Oxford Street and just across the road from Bond Street Station. The reception staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well decorated and the bar and reception were extremely luxurious and welcoming.
The view from our room was that of a fire escape, scaffolding and skips!! The blind was kept firmly down at all times. The room is provided with a Nespresso machine - ok if you like coffee. However, only three coffee pods were provided - there were two of us in the room. We phoned down later on in the evening to ask for some more and were told we would have to pay 1.50 for a single pod (which by the way was an espresso so not even a decent sized cup). We were very disappointed at this considering we had paid almost 200 pounds for the room and this was without breakfast - complimentary tea and coffee would have been nice!
Comfortable Hotel in a great location. Staff really helpful.
Location and staff
Room was really small, without fridge (if you get thirsty in the middle of the night, we will be in trouble).
I love love this hotel!! I highly recommend it. It has a central location in London. I was able to walk everywhere. I love that my room was big and so beautiful.
The lobby need an update and the bed need to be more soft. I'll stay here again if I go to London.
Quality of bed and bedding Friendly doorman and reception staff Location Knowledge of staff
Lost on staircase the day I didn't take the lift....
It was great finally meeting a concierge after watching hotel Babylon! He was very knowledgeable, but most of all he remembered who I was and tailored his comments to that.
