Location and style. No gym and when we were there the wonderful De Ville restaurant closed for refurbishment, which wasn't made clear when I booked.

Perfect location, very comfortable beds. I was very disappointed to find out when i arrived that the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment. If i would have known this beforehand i would not have picked the hotel. And i wasn't offered any compensation of any sort, as i paid my room before arrival.

Close proximity to Oxford St and shopping. Room was very clean-well serviced. I didnt like the fact that although I had booked this hotel last October - at no stage was I told that there would be no bar or restaurant services during my stay, and no compensation or reduction of price for the lack of these. I was told [as were the other guests ahead of me on arrival] that you could order room service [at no reduced cost] or eat across the road in the restaurant there. I didnt like the fact that when I wanted to order a taxi, [on the room's telephone to reception] I was told that it could only be 'hailed' when I would come down to reception. There was a half bottle of wine on offer in my room, which would have been charged for had I used it- i thought that as a small gesture of apology for the reduced facilities in the hotel [which I felt I was being charged full price for] that this wine might have been offered free? Nor did I like my room being cold each night and having to use the electric heater that was supplied in the wardrobe. I suggest they knew we would be cold in that room-hence the heater. [In fact there were two of these in the wardrobe.]In fact I usually have found in any 4 star hotels I have previously stayed in that the rooms get very warm during the night even though the radiators are switched off, but not in this case. The window was not double glazed, was draughty and was hence noisy in the early mornings.

Lovely hotel in a superb location for restaurants, shops and generally getting about easily. Staff were very friendly and most helpful. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room which was a downside coming in from a hard day sightseeing. Room service was available but it would be preferable making tea etc in the room.

The "Concierge" was extremely amiable and available, five stars for him. The rooms are very comfortable and with good decoration. The localisation is excelent close to Oxford Street in a very pleasant zone. In a return to London it will be naturally the Hotel of election. Unfortunately the restaurant was in works for what we did not have chance to try the famous “five o'clock tea”.

The location was good. The staff was accommodating when we asked for different rooms and moved us within 2 hours. The bathrooms were marble and had Etro products. The staff gave us complimentary wifi. The rooms and bathrooms were tiny.

You couldn't ask for a better location and the room service was prompt and efficient. The deluxe room was little on the small size.

The staff were really friendly, the room (deluxe) was spacious and very quiet. Location is great. You're a stone's throw from Marylebone High Street and also close to Selfridges, yet you don't get any noise in the hotel. Would heartily recommend this hotel. Only a coffee machine in the bedroom. My wife is a tea drinker and would have liked a kettle and some tea, especially in the morning.

A hotel situated perfectly in the heart of London. Turn right and enjoy a quiet upscale neighborhood, turn left and shop in Oxford Street. Old word charm meets contemporary flair, this hotel is highly recommended.

The location The room was too small and no hospitality like snacks or wine in the lobby which we have experienced in other hotels in similar range: Andaz, Melia White House. There was dynamic about it- it felt a little lifeless.

I have stayed before. I still think it is a bit pricey as we had a deluxe room without breakfast. Breakfast should be included or at least less expensive than it is. With children £17-26 gbp per person starts to mount up. We stayed here mostly because of convenient location. We stayed in a superior room last time that was really tiny. Would stay again but would hope that a breakfast deal was available. I did not like that the breakfast was so expensive and not included.

Only the location Superior room is so small, so I cannot imagine the size of a standard one. Staff at the reception did not say anything like: Enjoy your stay, or Welcome or something... Corridors and lift pretty dirty as well as so called lobby.
