The Mandeville Hotel    

-Convenient location, particularly for those having business in Mayfair or Marylebone area; -well-equipped single room with window, with comfortable bed and pillows, with all amenities, with "no-corner" layout. -Basically, my room was a really good choice for a single traveller.

Staffs were really friendly and helpful. Great location and quaint restaurants along the way. Will book this hotel again during our next trip!

Late check out and luggage store was very helpful, it gave us extra time in London before our journey home.

Though a bit pricey, we loved our stay here because of the excellent staff and wonderful location. The concierge team of Ian and Carlos went out of their way to assist us in making city tour arrangements. They, along with the personable bellhop Danny, were always there to greet us by name as we came and went making us feel very much at home. The room was comfortable and the in-room espresso maker was an added plus.

The Mandeville was the perfect place for our week in London. Geat room and very quiet. The excellent staff was very helpful. The hotel has a fine restaurant. Wish we had bought the breakfast upgrade with the room although there are lots of restaurants nearby. We had London Passes and Travelcards which was great. Made it easy to come back to the room and take a breaksince the Bond Street Tube Station is a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Privacy

No tea making machine and I stayed for a week too much money to order tea regularly I didn't want coffee machine and at a cost I have travelled world and found that odd and a money making venture. Your charging enough give a little

Coffee machine didn't work

The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The concierge helpful and accommodating.

A few things in the bathroom overlooked such as in the need of an extra bar of soap and one day no fresh wash cloths.

Unfriendly disinterested staff. Slow lifts and difficulties with access via stairs/poor signposting of rooms via stairs.

The location was excellent and the rooms were clean

The concierge were so rude. We encountered 3 different men at the concierge and all of them were rude. One snapped at us while booking a restaurant for us, the other through our bag in the taxi and slammed the door the third said everything will be ready soon and then told us he forgot to do it. They were horrible to us they had a bad attitude. I complained to the manager but i'm not sure what he did about it. We would never stay at your hotel again and wouldn't recommend it to our friends. Sort out the attitude of your employers!

My favourite hotel in London for both shopping and business. Very friendly staff, ideal location. I've been there 7-8 times, visited other hotels but always come back here, when rates are affordable.

Hotel could do with some sound proofing installed ,you can hear other guests every footstep , even down to them using the toilet, reception staff unfriendly,

The bar staff were very friendly as was the Concierge.There was little else to like seeing that we were very unhappy with the extremely cramped and uncomfortable room.Leaving aside the hotel, the location was good.

We were in a standard room and when we arrived we saw that it was so small that there was nowhere to put the suitcases and insufficient room for our clothes == no drawers just a few shelves.All in all a very uncomfortable stay.The reception staff were uninterested in my comments on seeing the room.

Lifts have a very loud signal when they arrive on each floor. You can hear this in rooms near the lifts. They don't provide tea and coffee making facilities.

-The road leading to the hotel from Oxford Street and closeness to Bond Street Station - comfortable bed

- Small, dark, claustrophobic room - Television did not work properly and film that cost over £8 to buy was ruined by interferrence - Although room broschure stated we would have a nespresso machine, there was none, nor any tea or coffee making facilities - The wet room bathroom option created a slippery floor after showering so the towels had to be used so we could walk on the floor without falling - no toilet seat - poorly fitting bathroom door so no privacy - no room in bathroom to put toiletries or make-up. - Had the feeling that everything was charged extra, felt marginalised and un-cared for. - Consierge knew little or nothing that was asked of him - the doorman never said hello nor opened the door.

There is no boiler in the room so you have to ask the room service for free because they have only coffee maker
