Score from 1347 reviews Very good
The location was excellent and the staff very attentive and helpful at all times. The room was spotlessly clean so for a weekend base it fitted the bill
A bit pricey for a room only when the room was quite small. I would have preferred tea making facilities rather than just a coffee machine.
The Location was excellent The staff on arrival were very welcoming and came out with umbrellas as it was raining. A very nice touch.
The rooms were tiny which is expected for central London however as it was a superior room I would have expected a slightly larger room with space for 2 cases. Asking for a tip on departure was a little uncomfortable. Quite noisy as there was a lot of construction work.
Very comfortable bar. Good staff. Nice atmosphere.
Room was small and didn't seem good for the price - poor view of back of hotel.
Location was great
Didn't enjoy my meal
The room is too small. The price is too high for a hotel like that.
Friendleness of the staff
Room was very small. So small that I had no place to keep my bag! Had to remove a small table in order to do so. Elevator, very small, corridors very small. For a large customer major issues n if you are a big made person then too one wud be extremely tight. On going construction. Closed enterence.
Comfortable bed, helpful staff, brilliant location
The room was confortable and clean. The location was excellent! You can walk from there to many attractions.
Location, nice staff
Noise of building next door
Every thing was to a good standard, room a little on the small size, but clean and had all we required for our 3 day stay, and what you would expect from a good hotel.
Noise of outside traffic could be heard in the room, but only at early evening.
The concierge service was superb. .great and friendly
No kettle in room ... wifi code need to be changed every day.
Clean for UK hotel. Room comfortable, though small, with full tub in the bathroom. Location - quiet yet close to tube stop
Front desk staff a bit surly.
The location was great , just a short walk from Oxford St. Staff very friendly and polite.
Room was a bit small and towel rail wasn't working. Staff gave us a portable heater on arrival as the air conditioning didn't work . This was fixed fairly quickly. Bowl of crisps was very expensive. Most hotels provide these.
Staff is very polite and helpful. The room is very comfortable. Good location.
Very well located ...
Rooms are a little bit small They dont do upgrades
Typical 4* for London
Small cramped room. window frames are slit so prevents noise from the street. Expensive Breakfast.
Everything from moment we arrived until we left brilliant. We are back on 15 November can't wait! Xxx
Bar and restaurant good at the end of the work day if you are too tired to go out. Staff unusually great. Wifi a bit texious with 24 hour code. Room size good. Location amazing. Would return
Location is excellent ..
Size of the room .. Bathroom .. Don't feel comfort ..
No storage facilities for bags when we left for a few days and will be back in the hotel after that. Had to store bags at friend's house.
Location. Comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff.
A very expensive breakfast was not included in the price.
The location is first class, a few steps from St Christopher's Place with so many restaurants to choose from, 2 blocks from Bond St underground and so so convenient for shopping. The doorman, reception, bar staff and in fact any staff member we came into contact with were all warm and friendly. I was impressed with the Nespresso machine in our room.
As I said, I loved the Nespresso machine but greedily would have liked a small kettle as well as I'm a "tea in the morning, coffee in the afternoon" kind of person.
I have stayed there a number of times now and the service is always impeccable. If something is missing in your room it is brought to you within 5 minutes. Check-in and check out is swift. The porter and the bell boys are very polite and helpful and the location is great if you want to combine a spot of late night shopping after work.
Very good location Very good staff
Windows need refurb
The location is just perfect to explore the inner part of London. Rooms look fitted up only recently. Staff at the reception was very helpfull and friendly. Our request for changing the room was immediately followed. While breakfast at the hotel is expensive, there are plenty good restaurants and pubs around as alternative.
Although we have asked in our reservation for 'a better room' due to the length of our stay, we were given one with a window into the backyard, just above the glass roof of a restaurant kitchen, with smell and permanent noise from a large ventilator. The WIFI performance was extremely poor - uploads into social systems did not work due to timeout; downloads were extremely slow
