Location, friendly helpful service and attention
Air conditioning noisy
Location is just great. Staffs were pleasant and rooms comfortable. Would highly recommend the hotel.
Strong smell of cigarette in the bedroom.
We stayed several years back and it was very very contemporary in vibrant colours and fabrics in the cocktail bar etc., I think ownership must have changed, because in comparison it is now quite drab with boring sofas etc in the bar.... We had a deluxe room which was not as spacious as the previous stay and we mentioned that one of the two china cups that was provided in the room for coffee had a dirty crack down it to several members of staff it was still left and not replaced, even when the room was cleaned...so in the end we took it down to reception and on our return that night no one had bothered to replace it...also not even a biscuit or breakfast was included in the price...2 night stay £400. not impressed...won't be staying again...disappointing anniversary stay...the memorie of a fab previous stay years ago now tarnished...
We love the location...the restaurants around the little eating area called St Christophers Place is the main attraction for choosing this hotel and 5 mins of Oxford Street
This hotel don't provide free water and drinks in the mini bar is expensive. Would be nice if they provide a few bottles of free water in a room.
The location of this hotel is so convenient. It is close to Merylebone high street which have many nice shops, cafes and restaurants. Also easy to access to alomost everywhere in Central London.
Toiletries were not nice at all: the soap didn't rinse off hands but left a film on the hands, the shower gel was very sweet smelling and did not go very far at all, no lather or feeling of cleanliness afterwards. For the standard of the hotel the toiletries are definitely below par. Should be upgraded! Also found toilet had been place way too close to the wall. Bad planning! Overall Sevice and staff were friendly and very good, but things are starting to look a little dated in the lobby and rooms.
Some rooms are too tiny
Location, free wi-fi, my 3rd stay in this hotel
The rooms should be checked!!!
Location is good.
Rooms are very small and they kept asking me at breakfast to pay for the English Breakfast when it was included.
Location was perfect and the staff very helpful and nice.
my last stay was in connected room in first floor and it was noisy you can hear the other room clearly and also hear the music from resturant in ground floor
location, freindly staff
They can improve TV channels selection / package, although the current channels are not very bad.
Excellent location with proximity to Oxford street, shopping and great dining. I would definitely use this hotel again.
Space of the room. Expensive mini bar
Initial problems at check-in with reception suggesting that I had only booked one room, which I hadn't, the atmosphere was a little frosty to say the least. Checking out was efficient if somewhat robotic in nature, a smile says more than the words we hear.
The service was very good on the whole, the concierge and door staff shone, as did the bar staff, all were very helpful.
Room was smaller than we expected.ensuite very small. Convector heater was noisy.
Staff very friendly and helpful
A request for an early check in was neither addressed or granted!
No kettle to make tea, but that is just being fussy
Everything was very clean and room was really nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and helpfull
I would prefer the traditional kettle rather than the nespresso machine. I found surprise fees tacked onto my hotel bill. Pay close attention to your bill when you're checking out. Building is not well isolated. The noise in the corridors of the hotel was even louder than normal.
Convenient location, close to many restaurants and cafes
Shower didn't drain well
wonderfully comfortable bed, helpful staff, welcoming of babies, proximity to restaurants, spacious room
Bed so soft.
Evey thinks except bed.
The airco was blowing extremely loud and warm air. Unable to control it yourself. No help during the night from front desk. They fixed it the next day, saying the put the temperature up due to the cold of the last days but no real compensation. Only a drink or breakfast which we were unable to do because of our schedule. Incorrect handling of affairs.
