The Amber Lodge  

Very nice stay, comfortable room and excellent breakfast, very friendly staff.

We received a warm welcome and had a very comfortable stay. The meals were home made and first class.

We have no complaints and will stay again when next in the area.

We received a great welcome and got into our room early. The room was super, very large and stylish, Everything about our stay was excellent and I would reccommenf it to anyone.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The whole experience was very enjoyable. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

There were only three pillows in the room, could have used another pillow to have two each.

Lovely staff, so laid back atmosphere. My daughter loved flying all the different raptors and learnt alot. What other hotel can boast a free, nearly 2 hour, raptor demonstration that a 6 year old can fly all kinds for free???? Also the staff were extremely helpful. The chambermaid was especially nice and friendly. The whole family came back relaxed with very special memories of the Amber lodge.

The bar was not open !!!!

The staff's interest in hawking was a bonus.

All the staff were very friendly and made us and our Granddaughter very welcome. The evening meal was good and so was the breakfast, again nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay.

Pet friendly hotel and has grounds to let them have a quick run around in. Friendly staff, food was good. Lovely big house that is set in the countryside, what more could you ask.

Had to change rooms as a bridal party was coming in and one of them wanted our room but the second room wasn't as comfy.

Very friendly and courteous owner,manager and staff, dining room and bar area nicely laid out ,background music just the right volume and easy listening.Food freshly cooked to order ,with regular dishes as well as 'specials' and good size portions.Room clean and tidy with all the usual items ....en-suite,tv.tea and coffee etc In this day and age the overall package for my three nights was very good value... I have spent a lot more elsewhere and have not felt I had my monies worth........I Would recommend Amber to anybody looking to visit that part of Norfolk.

Nothing at all really ....apart from the gravel car park with a large,heavy motor cycle !!!!!but I managed.

Amber Lodge is a friendly,comfortable place to stay.The staff were very pleasant and helpful.Breakfast was good and the evening meal was very nice. The hotel does need to be renovated in places but that did not detract from a very pleasant stay.
