Conveniently located, comfortable, friendly staff. The restaurant, although serviceable, isn't particularly good. Worth noting are the fried (drowned) mushrooms served with the English breakfast, and the (overly/re) fried fish with the Fish&Chips. The wine selection is rather limited - most wines are screwtops which at least give you a little warning. The (abandoned) green water feature is a bit fascinating... |

The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The evening receptionist was helpful. It was tired looking and did not give an overall welcoming feel. Breakfast was slow the next day. My boiled eggs arrived in ramekin dishes rather than egg cups which made them difficult to eat as they kept sliding around, and one of the eggs was bad. |

easy access to local amenities.breakfast vary good value the head of the bed was a foot away from the headboard and wall due to a raised wooden plinth, which ment all night long the pillows fell off of the bed.The girl on duty was miserable and unhelpful at reception, and tried to charge me again for our hotel booking when we checked out, even though i had made full payment with yourselves when we booked.Ihad to show a bank statement to prove that i had already paid. |

The close proximity to the town and theatre Although the bed and bathroom were clean the windowsills were dirty and tatty lampshade missing off lamp, and room very dark lack of good lighting, first impression when I walked in was "rough" wont be returning. |

we thought that the staff were most helpful and considerate, and very importantly created a cheerful atmosphere. The meals were excellent and very reasonably priced. The full english breakfast set you up for the day. Beds much too comfortable for ordinary Travellers! slept like a lion after a good meal! Misleading signs to reception.from car park.... must have walked miles... upstairs .. downstairs... through doors ...along corridors....down more... stairs. Just a simple sign" Reception is Across Courtyard in Manor Hotel Main Entrance" (unless you want the exercise go this way) |

Imposing building close to town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Low standard of cleanliness. Room 52 in Annex had stained WC pot, mould between wall and edge of bath, sticky surfaces everywhere. Entrance and staircase of annex was dirty and covered with litter. General air of neglect. |

The hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere and they were kind enough to find us a ground floor room, as my husband had hurt his leg in an accident two days before. The beds were very comfortable and there was a large selection for breakfast. On arrival we had to wait several minutes before we could find someone to check us in as no-one was on the reception desk. |

The location was good as it was in the town of Yeovil. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the public rooms were bright. Our room was quite comfortable and airy. The hotel could do with a 'lick of paint' and a bit of refurbishment - a little tired looking. |

welcomed on arrival, explained where the room was, breakfast and evening meal times and offered a wake up call. Enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. Aware on booking non smoking room may not be available, but not being a smoker, didn't like the stale smoke smell of the room. Would of liked a net/voile as our ground floor bedroom faced the carpark, with the car facing the window, being summer you have your curtains open, felt exposed. |

Dinner was not available owing to two functions. The room was shabby, the window lock did not operate and we were unable to gain access to the annexe as all the doors were locked. The Manager had to come and unlock a doorso that we could enter |
