The Green Room offers accommodations with breakfast included in the center of Yeovil. Guests can enjoy a sumptuous dinner menu served in a splendid 16th-century restaurant.
Score from 180 reviews Very good
The Keep’s elegantly styled boutique rooms are set within a few metres of Yeovil town centre’s shops and bars.

Score from 266 reviews Very good
Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good.
Room was in the attic. We felt we should have been warned as lots of stairs, sloping ceiling (I nearly knocked myself out on the tv which was in a very bad position and tiny obscured windows with pigeons making a constant racket. There's no way the room rate should have been the same as other rooms in this hotel. If we'd been there for more than one night we would have moved to another hotel.
Staff very pleasant.
I have now had my meal there twice. Next time I would have my meal elsewhere
Convenient, and pleasant staff
Pilllows too hard
Everything was wonderful, from the rooms to the staff. By the end my girlfriend and I did not wish to leave. The food was exquisite and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. I haven't had a good nights sleep like that in months.
The bed, the en-suite, the food, the friendly staff, the free parking...you name it
Cant complain about a thing
Food was good, as was room and bar. Central to yeovil town centre
All the staff were smiley and friendly even the information packs in the room was welcoming, hoping you had an enjoyable stay and hoped you would visit again - quite refreshing. Beds were comfortable, restaurant was cosy and welcoming and food was very good. We paid £60 per night (discounted) which was good value but if the cost is normally double that, that's a bit high and we wouldn't be stopping there.
The hotel had miss calculated on the number of people that would be dining and only had 2 kitchen staff on. We waited an hour for our food but were compensated.
Not a lot perhaps on my avoid list, pity as working in the area maybe the company should invest in mystery shopping it help sort out our staff issues which is perhaps the problem here
As above mostly staff related
Comfortable, nice hotel/pub, nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff, very central location. could not have asked for more
The location was good
The car park was full, when we were assured before arriving that there was plenty of parking. The hotel room was dated, the bed was almost as uneven as the floors, there was a 3 inch between the door and the frame of the bathroom, we had to wait 15 minutes on arrival for someone to notice us at reception, cooked breakfast was poor (smoked salmon and scrambled eggs) and selection of continental was even worse!
Perfect location for me, friendly staff, and I loved the breakfast. Wish that I had arrived earlier in the evening to enjoy the comforts more, and the bar. I also appreciated that the I was able to leave my car parked in the car park for an extra hour or so at no extra cost.
I would have appreciated an offer of help with my heavy bags, especially as their were three members of staff around the reception area at the time! But that's a customer service idea, not a moan; I really enjoyed my stay and the customer service was very good.
Right from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We stayed in the Manor room and the 4 post bed was fantastic, leaving the bed was difficult as it was so comfy. Evening meal in the bar was above expectation and great value. Should we ever need a room in town again we will happily use the Manor.
Has a feeling that it was great when first renovated but is now getting a little tiered. (loo roll holder missing...brackets for shelf above sink there but no shelf, broken electric radiator, foot missing, but left in room and radiator cover under window smashed and left hanging)
The hotel was a very attractive building and the main function rooms were all nice. We asked for a quiet bedroom, and got just that.
At breakfast, only one member of staff waiting on all the tables. It was a weekend, and the hotel was very busy. We felt sorry for the poor waitress - there should have been at least 2 waiting on tables.
Menu very limited considering it was Christmas Eve. Only offered bar menu. Never spent christmas away. It was a special treat but it had no atmosphere and wouldn't recommend for such an occasion.
I had a single room bed very comfy nice hotel overall would stay here again.
Bar slighty pricey, but im a yorkshireman so a bit tight
Bar closing for guests early
The room was a good size for the money i paid, Staff were very helpful at giving out directions as near been to yeovil before to stay.
The only thing that affects the score was the bit of mould that was around the taps by the bath other than that the stay was perfect.
comfy bed and good breakfast clean good location friendly staff
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very OK but the whole hotel was very warm/hot which is ideal for winter (maybe a bit too warm).
Breakfast was good except for Eggs Benedict and Croach Madam which were both flavourless and boring. Beds were a little too soft. Quality of fixtures and fittings was average. overall, a reasonable hotel for the money.
Clean and extremely comfortable bed. Good food. Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. If I ever visit Yeovil again, I will most definitely stay here and will most certainly recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a very pleasant visit.
Room ok bed good very good
Bedroom furniture old breakfast poor frist day had a whole mursroom second day just a half way
The beds, wifi and the hotel looked lovely
We had a menu in our room with food stains on and the magazine and menu had bits ripped off them like the previous guests had used them for cig filters
Being able to hear neighbouring rooms. Bed being too soft for my liking. Would be nice to have a choice of firm mattresses? Veggie option at breakfast wasn't great, esp considering that I'm gluten free. All that was edible was g.f toast or omelettes. Would be nice to see a veggie full English added?
Beatiful old building, excellent parking and in a great location. Staff were professional and courteous. Breakfast was also excellent. Very good value overall.
Some bedroom fitments a bit worn. Wardrobe space a bit lacking with tatty wire hangers and a sticking door. Also, being on top floor of such on old building, the plumbing struggled to deliver any waterflow on occasions.
