LOVELY OLD BUILDING
everyone very friendly and helpful. Room a bit dated but extremely comfortable.
Service was quite slow and staff seemed unsure of their rolls, in the restaurant.
Very comfortable clean staff were very helpful and polite
Staff all very friendly and welcoming.
The room above us had very creaky floor boards
Location to the town
All was fine.
A little to hot in the room.
Food - very good Bed - very comfortable
Rooms very noisy - with quite thin walls
Ample on site parking, comfortable, clean room.
Quality of breakfast not brilliant.
4 poster room with dressing room and large en-suite Building re-furbed 2years ago. Lovely breakfast room .
Restaurant menu not impressive !!
I had a lovely stay at the Manor. The room was very spacious, the enormous bed was comfortable and the bathroom to die for. A very tasty breakfast and well stocked buffet. Had a relaxing time in the bar. Will come again. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Good selection of hot food available
Bed too hard and could feel springs, had bad back the following couple of days. Not all buffet choices available for breakfast
The hotel was easy to find & a good central location.Staff were very helpful &friendly.Room was spacious &beds comfortable.Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of everything you could want.Would stay at this hotel again.
The food was good and fairly inexpensive.
The Size of the room Cleanliness Towels and bath sheet were missing
no staff on reception, and had to wait for ages for someone to show up. this happen alot. the room had holes in the wall and the shower kept going hot and cold or no water at all. half are food was burnt. the hotel had a wedding party and the two bar staff would only serve them. me and my partner and other hotel guest were left to wait. after waiting 15-20 minutes and watching wedding guest walk up to the bar and being served straight away. i felt i had no choice but to raise my voice at the bar staff. i did get a drink in the end. i cant believe how much money i spent in that hell hole. i feel riped off.
Breakfast from 7am. Arrive for Breakfast at 7:10 wait around for 15 minutes with no staff, hot food or even bread for toast. Give up and leave after a bowl of cereal. 2 members of staff sat talking at reception the whole time.
Location was good as it is a short walk to the town centre
Hotel is looking tired. Bathrooms are small and decoration generally shabby
it was really great time ahead there enjoy it, love this place really its really nice and very old building and alls the stuff and also people was nice, xx
Quiet and very nice room. The restaurant is very comfortable to drink a beer and rest. The hotel has a very good old and traditional decoration.
Location was good and easy to find. Handy being 2minutes from town Food excellent and staff polite
Considering we booked a double room for two we disappointed the room had not been thoroughly prepared as we hand no milks in room for tea & coffee, only had one bath towel and NO toilet roll. Sleep wasn't brilliant as kept awake by a delivery van which was very noisy.
Close to town centre
The service was excellent, lovely atmosphere and the food was lovely.
Bathroom was a state and a lot of unpleasant hairs were found on the bath mat.
Not very much
The room was run down and needed updating
the room had a strange smell
Look of the outside of the buding
Wash basin was blocked, shower curtain was brown at the bottom instead of white, the shf over the wash basin was missing, no where to put wash bags except the floor. The floor boards between the toilet & the bath were very soggy and you felt as if your foot would go through them. The parking was very limited as there were weddings taking place the 3 days we stayed. Not enough waiters & waitresses in the dinning room.
