Very friendly staff. Restaurant food good.

Perhaps a little expensive for the rather basic facilities.

Good friendly atmosphere, wonderfull breakfast. Good evening meals. Staff and locals made us very welcome.

The weather of which they had no control. This was the only down side for us.

The atmosphere was great. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Large room with a great bed. Breakfast was really good.

The shower wasn't the greatest as it didn't maintain temperature.

Our room was comfortable clean and warm,we stayed in Febuary.The food and service was very good.We will stay there again.

Lovely fresh cooked breakfast cooked and served by lovely Linda. Excellent evening meals which we had both nights. Nice very clean bedroom (4). Good position to explore the area.

Room cold but Linda gave us an electric heater the next morning which solved the problem.

No evening meal available,nothing on line advising this television covered in dust very cold in room all radiators on timer toilet floor so cold like walking on ice bboked room and confirmed room with bath got shower had to change room due to tv not working

A warm welcome from the staff and good food. The full English breakfast was very good indeed. We had a very comfortable large double bed.

We could done with somewhere to hang our wet coats. The heating came on a bit late at both ends of the day. We should have asked for a spare heater which we could have had.

The inn was perfect for our trip, perfect ocation, friendly staff, great clean room, and the pub had a nice atmosphere with lovely local Ale !!!

Not able to sleep much as the pub was noisy well after closing time on a Saturday evening but we accept that is what you might expect for staying in a pub rather than a hotel.

everything, location and the inn its self is perfect, bit oldy worldy village pub atmosphere that is so relaxing, staff are wellcoming and plesant and very helpfull, the room was very large with a lovely on suite shower all very clean, lovely comfy bed and nice room facillities, food was out of this world, cooked to perfection served quickly, very nice breakfast cooked to order, wish more places were like this, will defanatly stay again and would recomend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing break.

Its a nice country pub with real ale, real locals (with their dogs) and real live music. Nicely hidden pool table...fair pub-grub type food, comfortable & clean room, not ott or dripping in opulence but absolutely fine. A good stopover on the way to the coast (which is what we did) or perhaps as a base for walkers. Great breakfast - very nice sausages & bacon.

Its a touch overpriced. Telling is that this was the only room available (and they weren't full) for miles around... They are not a hotel - its a pub with rooms. Price accordingly! Attention to detail would go a long way - for instance: tidying up the cables for the TV in the room, better signage to show the stairs, improve the shower (you have to dance around the dribbles to get wet)...and my pet hate - why deep fry everything possible? Sausages should be cooked in a frying pan, perhaps finished in a hot oven and black pudding should be treated with more respect. A fair fish & chips was served but the scallops starter were extremely overcooked and the mash/black pudding blobs it was served with not seasoned at all.

Convenient for visiting two National Trust properties and Dartmouth. Comfy beds, parking on site, good food.

Everything was excellent.....room was great, food was fantastic and would always recommend it. Room 3 is slightly small as a double but overall, 10/10 and would always go back.

Staff were friendly and welcoming as were the local people. Food was excellent especially the enormous breakfast, we did not need lunch on either day. Location ideal for Torbay area. We would definitely stay at the Manor Inn again.

Manor Inn is a great place to stay for a few days when exploring the Brixham Dartmouth area. The owners and staff are really friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfasts are really excellent and we never needed lunch. We were there for 4 nights and ate there 3 out of 4 nights because the food was really great. The atmosphere in the pub is friendly and relaxed and they have great beer. Would certainly go back again.

The only room available was quite small so next time we would book early enough to get one of the other rooms which were all an excellent size.

The food was of a very high standard; the ales ( my main reason for choosing the inn ) were varied and very good.

Menus misleading, why daily menu? Its only part of the overall everyday offering. Concentration on local customers is welcomed but guests should have similar status. Irrespective of shift/day kitchen supervision should include individual competent on quality control.

Breakfast had to be eaten in the dank smelly bar area. The smell of stale ale and rank carpet was most unpleasant. The room was small with nowhere to sit other than the bed. The window allowed the wind to blow through the room making it quite cold. The towel rail would not heat up despite being connected to the central "heating", and also having an electrical connection. I was told that no one would come and fix it until the next day, not much good as we were only staying one night. The shower room looked fairly clean but smelt musty and stale. I have stayed in much better places for half the price.

Our stay at Manor Inn Galmpton was very nice indeed. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff were excellent. The food was very good and very plentyful. We would recommend it to our friends and hope to stay there again ourselves in the future.
