nothing to dislike.
Food very good and plenty of it. The breakfast was excellent. All the staff friendly and very helpful. Room keep clean and tidy. Recommend.
The Manor Inn was warm and welcoming, and it was great being able to have a drink and enjoy reasonably priced good food in the bar, before turning in ( just a walk up the stairs). The bedroom facilities were very good and clean, and we had a great cooked breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly.
Freindly staff, very welcoming great location
The treatment I received from the staff especially at breakfast and the comfort of the room.
Being pestered by Booking.com
Linda and her breakfast, the rest of the team were also very good. The important thing was that I didn't pay a lot so I didn't expect a lot so was not surprised to find that the room was quite compact, however did have a peek at another room and that was very big. Very clean modern bathroom. A pleasure to spend time in a very busy village pub.
With the room being compact there was no where to really relax after dinner, on a couple of nights we sat in the small bar where the chairs are slightly larger otherwise it was a case of retiring to the bed. Minor point because I stayed an extra night.
staff friendliness and food quality
Bar music generally went on to 11.0 p.m.,and this noise penetrated to our bedroom(no 4),making an early night quite difficult
The Location & the Inn was excellent, staff was very helpful had a very good trip.
There was a thing we did not like.
Good value for money Ample and free parking Excellent food and service Good location a short drive from Brixham Harbour and Torquay Manor Inn was very busy but we couldn't hear any noise from the bar in our room Very friendly staff and great breakfasts
I can honestly report that the only thing we didn't like was only staying for two nights!
Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable and spotless. Couldn't fault it. Excellent breakfast, all freshly cooked. Would recommend.
The food was restaurant quality
Squeaky bed(minor fault)
Very friendly and considerate staff. Breakfast and evening meals excellent. Good selection of real ales. Good atmosphere in what is very much a local pub.
Wi-fi not available in the room we were in. Had to go down to the bar. Not a major issue with us.
We came to this hotel about three years ago and enjoyed it then, hence the return. We stopped off on way to Falmouth and were not disappointed. The car park at the rear of hotel means just a short few steps to get into bedroom. Ideal, Linda was great too!
Breakfast was very good. The room was lovely and comfortable. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Evening meal was delicious too.
Linda's breakfasts, ease of parking and access, good location.
The small room, but it was a very good price. Meals were a a little expensive.
Convenient location for our relations hence we have stayed there many times. Friendly staff, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Excellent breakfast as always. Affordable and not haunted!
The wi-fi can be hit and miss - rather more miss than hit. There is no phone signal due to location.
Spacious room, recently refurbished; staff friendly and helpful; food was of high quality and generous portions; lovely views.
Wi-fi connection was poor. The night we stayed was very warm but there was no air conditioning or a fan. Despite signs asking customers to be quiet when leaving the pub it was noisy outside after closing time.
Lovely comfy bed, hearty tasty food in the cosy bar and great breakfast served by friendly staff. Great value price £55 by booking early. Excellent!
Nice pub ,breakfast excellent central to torquey and brixham Linda who served breakfast very special lady friendly and chatty made us very welcome.
Room to small, very hard to get served at bar due to locals many with dogs and customers very loud out side room when window open as its above the patio area.
Food v/good Staff superb
Odd road noise during early morning. Step down to Bathroom a bit hazardous, especially if waking during the night.
Most of the things listed above
Music from the bar which you could hear in the bedroom
Everything. Lovely place to stay, our room was spacious, comfy and very clean. the staff friendly and helpful and the food is really good. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
We had a lovely brand new room which had just been refurbished and was very comfy.
When we arrived we looked for somewhere else in walking distance to eat an evening meal, there did not however appear to be anywhere so we booked the pub. I am a vegetarian/celiac so I know I am not the easiest to cater for but the only veggie option was a salad. After waiting a very long time I was served with a bowl of lettuce with very few bits of anything else, this was very poor value for money. I also had notified the pub prior to arrival regarding breakfast. Although the staff were very helpful they were obviously not aware of my requirements and was left with egg and grilled tomato for breakfast? this for the money paid I feel was very poor.
.Spacious Room 5.Good range of real ale. Linda's Full English breakfast.
