“The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. The room was comfortable and had a modern bathroom. There was a large window that opened. It was fairly quiet at night. With the window open the occasional loud conversations on the street were audible but were not a problem. The hotel itself was very quiet.”

After reading some of the reviews on here I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is off the main street so pretty quiet. The room was fine and the location is ideal. What do some people expect from a budget hotel in London?

we only slept in the room that was about it we didnt do anything in the hotel to be honest. I wasnt overally happy about the 4% charge onto my credit card because it didnt say anything about that until we got to the hotel. Surely in future they should put that in writing before booking then people would know.

We chose the Manor Hotel as we were going from home in Manchester to the Ideal Home Exhibition in Earls Court and just picked an hotel we thought would be nearby, although we didn't realise just how easy it would be getting from the tube to the hotel and to the exhibition centre. For the price we paid (£60 for B&B, with an en-suite) we weren't expecting much but for night we weren't too worried. We were greeted in a friendly way and we had a room on the ground floor, which we thought might be noisy but wasn't. The bed was really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The shower cubicle was large and we had lovely hot showers, with a really good flow of water, not just a trickle. Breakfast was just orange juice, cereal and white toast (we weren't given a choice) and tea/coffee but it was perfectly adequate. All in all, it was a really good choice and we would stay there again. There was nothing we didn't like.

For the price I got the bare minimum but that was expected. It was not less than that. Otherwise it was functional, clean and breakfast was better than expected. The hotel is value for money when compared to similar outhere. The twin room bathroom was too small to be functional and the ventilation fan didnt work. The fan was also loose so if the wind blew it made a terrible noise and you couldnt sleep. Hopefully this will be fixed. Very little hot water and pressure in the twin room bathroom however the shared bathroom had excellent pressure and hot water so it is actually better to use that one.

The location of the Manor Hotel is excellent close to Earls Court Station and there are many pubs restaurants and shops close by. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the price of the hotel was very reasonable and the continental breakfast very good. The hotel is looking a bit dated and tired and in need of updating

Location Two out of three days when I came back from nightlife I ring the bell more than 15 minutes till the reception wake up and open the door... That was terrible with low tempreature not have access to your already paid room. Also I paid 4% more for the room because I did not have cash money.

The staff is friendly and customer oriented. The prices are reasonable and the location is great (3 minutes from Earl Court Station, which is on the metro line from Heathrow and pretty central). The rooms are comfortable and large, with decent bathrooms, which you do not find in all hotels. The window of the last bedroom we were in closed with difficulty (old wooden frame) and the electrical wiring seemed a little old.

Value for money. I paid 60 pounds per stay for double room. The location of the hotel is great. Near to the underground station. The breakfast was poor. Internet was out of order. The bathroom had problems.

Great location, near shops & expo centre. Was clean. Handy hair-dryer mounted on wall. Good lighting by bed, sink & mirrors. I was on the top floor & with a heavy suitcase this was a nightmare to get up to. It has problems with the flow & pressure of water, on my first morning there the shower was barely working. I was in a single room, the shower was just in the corner of the room with a bathroom sink next to it not like in pictures. Tv was too small & high up for me to watch.

I did not like their cheapness, I had to pay for the parking, which was not mentioned, the price I paid (70 gbp) was more than the rack rate (60 gbp). Tv had only local channels, no air condition, breakfast is very poor.

Helpful Staff. I had difficulty climbing the steep stairs to my single room, and when the member of staff realised this I was re-booked into a downstairs room which I could get to easily. For the very reasonable cost for a good position London hotel the accommodation was good value. Would have liked some access to tea/coffee.

I wanted a budget hotel and I got a good budget hotel. Fully satisfactorily if you just want, like me, a place to sleep and take a shower. Everything was functioning: warm & cold water, hairdryer, tv (only 4 boring channels though). Nice staff, good and quiet location very close to the tube station Earl's Court and to a row of little shops, groceries and cheap restaurants. Like many other guests: the very poor breakfast (just corn flakes, jam and toasts with coffee/tea and orange juice). Some cold cuts and cheese would have been nice and no luxury.
