Manor Hotel  

we only slept in the room that was about it we didnt do anything in the hotel to be honest.

I wasnt overally happy about the 4% charge onto my credit card because it didnt say anything about that until we got to the hotel. Surely in future they should put that in writing before booking then people would know.

We chose the Manor Hotel as we were going from home in Manchester to the Ideal Home Exhibition in Earls Court and just picked an hotel we thought would be nearby, although we didn't realise just how easy it would be getting from the tube to the hotel and to the exhibition centre. For the price we paid (£60 for B&B, with an en-suite) we weren't expecting much but for night we weren't too worried. We were greeted in a friendly way and we had a room on the ground floor, which we thought might be noisy but wasn't. The bed was really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The shower cubicle was large and we had lovely hot showers, with a really good flow of water, not just a trickle. Breakfast was just orange juice, cereal and white toast (we weren't given a choice) and tea/coffee but it was perfectly adequate. All in all, it was a really good choice and we would stay there again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The two older reception staff, one female one male. Female very unfriendly, male rude and indifferent.

The location of the Manor Hotel is excellent close to Earls Court Station and there are many pubs restaurants and shops close by. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the price of the hotel was very reasonable and the continental breakfast very good.

The hotel is looking a bit dated and tired and in need of updating

Two out of three days when I came back from nightlife I ring the bell more than 15 minutes till the reception wake up and open the door... That was terrible with low tempreature not have access to your already paid room. Also I paid 4% more for the room because I did not have cash money.

The staff is friendly and customer oriented. The prices are reasonable and the location is great (3 minutes from Earl Court Station, which is on the metro line from Heathrow and pretty central). The rooms are comfortable and large, with decent bathrooms, which you do not find in all hotels.

The window of the last bedroom we were in closed with difficulty (old wooden frame) and the electrical wiring seemed a little old.

Small rooms,not so comfortable..

Good hotel, quiet area close to Earl's Court tube. Newly redecorated bathroom. We really liked our room in the basement, it was quiet.

The bathroom and the breakfast where good.

The room was in the basement with bars on the window, the plaster on the wall above one bed was coming away.

Would have liked tea making facilities in the room.

The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. The room was comfortable and had a modern bathroom. There was a large window that opened. It was fairly quiet at night. With the window open the occasional loud conversations on the street were audible but were not a problem. The hotel itself was very quiet.

The only complaint was that our room was a bit too warm at times.

Helpful Staff. I had difficulty climbing the steep stairs to my single room, and when the member of staff realised this I was re-booked into a downstairs room which I could get to easily. For the very reasonable cost for a good position London hotel the accommodation was good value.

Would have liked some access to tea/coffee.
