Manor Hotel23 Nevern Place, Earls Court, SW5 9NR London (Show map) Review score 6.4 Score from 257 reviews“The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. The room was comfortable and had a modern bathroom. There was a large window that opened. It was fairly quiet at night. With the window open the occasional loud conversations on the street were audible but were not a problem. The hotel itself was very quiet.”

After reading some of the reviews on here I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is off the main street so pretty quiet. The room was fine and the location is ideal. What do some people expect from a budget hotel in London?

we only slept in the room that was about it we didnt do anything in the hotel to be honest. I wasnt overally happy about the 4% charge onto my credit card because it didnt say anything about that until we got to the hotel. Surely in future they should put that in writing before booking then people would know.

Greeting was miserable. Took all money up front +4%interest to use card!! Room dirty and dead insects about..not cleaned after asking about this.. Plumbing dreadful!! Scalding hot water or non at all.even to wash hands after loo.. Had to mix with bottled water to cool in a plastic cup to have wash in shower. Neighbours banged no wall each time water was drawn. No offer of help with bags. We were in the attic.. Very dissappointing.. No tea/coffee makings in room

Helpful Staff. I had difficulty climbing the steep stairs to my single room, and when the member of staff realised this I was re-booked into a downstairs room which I could get to easily. For the very reasonable cost for a good position London hotel the accommodation was good value. Would have liked some access to tea/coffee.

I wanted a budget hotel and I got a good budget hotel. Fully satisfactorily if you just want, like me, a place to sleep and take a shower. Everything was functioning: warm & cold water, hairdryer, tv (only 4 boring channels though). Nice staff, good and quiet location very close to the tube station Earl's Court and to a row of little shops, groceries and cheap restaurants. Like many other guests: the very poor breakfast (just corn flakes, jam and toasts with coffee/tea and orange juice). Some cold cuts and cheese would have been nice and no luxury.

My room was very clean, and so were the shared bethroom and toilets. The breakfast was minimal ; bedrooms are not well sound-proofed.

Great Location 4 minute walk from Earls Court Tube Station. Local Shops at the top of the road. Best to ask reception to ring for a taxi as hard to catch one down. Stayed in the triple room with ensuite, didnt start well since the reception spoke little English and gave us wrong directions to room. Inside the room, wasnt clean, walls were stained and rubbish still in there from previous stay. Very small tv which was on the way out. One extra blanket and only one extra pillow available. Bathroom was clean but no small shower gels, shampoo etc, plastic beakers. No drink facilities in the room E.G. kettle / tea or coffee. If you are after a very budget hotel this is the one. Breakfast - choice of 4 cereals and toast. Orange juice or milk in large jugs with plastic beakers.

The close proximity to the tube. It was not the cleanest hotel - in that it could do with deeper cleans more frequently.

Although I booked a single I had a good size room with double bed and single bed. Bed was comfortable. Excellent location. Not allowed to take a late key. Got back at 0230 and was real struggle to wake the reception to let me in. Took nearly 10 minutes of ringing the bell.

The location of the Manor Hotel is excellent close to Earls Court Station and there are many pubs restaurants and shops close by. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the price of the hotel was very reasonable and the continental breakfast very good. The hotel is looking a bit dated and tired and in need of updating

Location Two out of three days when I came back from nightlife I ring the bell more than 15 minutes till the reception wake up and open the door... That was terrible with low tempreature not have access to your already paid room. Also I paid 4% more for the room because I did not have cash money.

The staff is friendly and customer oriented. The prices are reasonable and the location is great (3 minutes from Earl Court Station, which is on the metro line from Heathrow and pretty central). The rooms are comfortable and large, with decent bathrooms, which you do not find in all hotels. The window of the last bedroom we were in closed with difficulty (old wooden frame) and the electrical wiring seemed a little old.

An unprofessional guy at the reception threatened to charge us for keeping our luggage in the lobby the day we checked out, thing that they usually do with no problem whatsoever.

Value for money. I paid 60 pounds per stay for double room. The location of the hotel is great. Near to the underground station. The breakfast was poor. Internet was out of order. The bathroom had problems.
