Excellent friendly staff, great facilities.

From the moment I arrived outside I was impressed. Speedy check-in and then to my room. Superb bathroom, although I would have preferred seperate shower. Bedroom furnishings and fittings excellent and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and hot food was hot so often a let down but not on this occasion. I was there for an evening function and took the opportunity to have a swim before the party. Lovely pool and changing area very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again .

Pool and spa area was very nice. Room was basic but ok.

Bathroom could have been cleaner and replaced the old shower gels and shampoos from previous customers, buffet full english could have been warmer as it was under and warming lamp but still was quite cold.

we had a wonderful stay at the hotel.the rooms are comfortable, the surroundings peaceful, staff friendly and helpful, the restaurant excellent, the menu very good, food excellent. the only minus was that there was no fridge nor safe in the room. We highly recommend this hotel.

Good conference and dinner for group agm . Exellent and helpfull duty Manager. We would retiun privately if we could be assured of better room cleaning and items in place that should be there .

1St room dreadful asked to change 2nd room dreadful in roof no light so hot window would't open fan provided did not work .. order for breakfast in room not collected breakfast cold every day... But my husband enjoyed the golf

We were only offered a twin room on your site however upon complaining about room we were told only double room available we would have liked a double and a better room if given the choice

We thought the staff were very helpful on our arrival, the hotel was relaxed and informal, the grounds and building itself are beautiful, and our room was very comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was unfortunate that we had spent the previous night in a lovely friendly hotel in France so perhaps the comparison is unfair. We live in France and are used to a welcoming smile when you arrive and a little conversation. The Manor of Groves is impersonal and business like. The room was nice and big but we wondered who had designed the layout - it is a bit strange - especially the huge wooden structure around the bed for apparently no purpose that blocks out the bedside lights. It was quite difficult to get ready for the wedding as the room had so little light.
