We chose this hotel only because others were fully booked but we were certainly glad that we did. We wanted a sea view and got one. We were welcomed by the owner of the manor and told what was available to us. The room was in need of some decoration but was very clean. We were later told that decorating was due to start in the near future. Bed was very comfortable. The bar area was very pleasant and felt very comfortable. Breakfast was also in this area. The breakfast was very nice and very hot. Cereals and toast was also available. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would definately stay there again.

The family suite was good as it had a separate room so that the children could go to bed earlier than us. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The decor was very nice.

Very friendly staff , nothing is too much trouble, and the owner is just great, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I will definitely be staying there again. Its got that home from home relaxing feeling about it but at the same time you have the on holiday feeling but that could be because they have a welcoming bar and a friendly barman. Oh, and the breakfasts are excellent.

The staff were attentive and efficient A comfy chair to sit on in the bedroom would have been nice. We stayed in room 12 during an extremely cold and windy few days and the room was warm but not excessively so.

Price and good location on beach. Cosy Bar and comfortable lounge. Breakfast very good. Quality bacon,, sausage and superb poached eggs. Central heating radiator didn't work properly. Shower small but at this price....

The shower did not work properly--it ran either scalding hot or ice cold and in my opinion was dangerous. It also did not sit properly in its holder and didn't spray properly.

“The locatiion of this hotel is superb as it is on the beach front with only a short walk around the corner to the towns high street. Decour and fittings are all in good modern taste with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The staff are all polite, well presented and helpful. In particular, i found the young lady receptionist a credit to the establishment. My room was clean and very comfortable.
