There was too much noise from the room above every night. Also they delivered beer barrels one night and this was also very noisy.

The history of the building and the quality of the environmment. The garden area was also amazing. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the Tudor romm which was excellent but for the price the shower was really poor and kept blowing hot and cold which was hugely frustrating.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us. I thought the room was overpriced. It was a very small and was quite loud in the morning as it was next to the main staircase.

Good location - easy parking. Beautiful hotel kept in prime condition - beautiful outside garden area and lovely furnishings. Very good service throughout the stay. Possibly that the room didn't quite appear to be a superior suite as we had hoped for - a little on the small side!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would mention is the fitting of the windows, some needed lifting to get themn shut, although this also added to the atmosphere!

I have stayed once before and found everything faultless apart from no internet. This time I stayed on Valentines night and the service was focussed on the many couples and not single residents, so I had a long wait for my food. The TV had no remote

The location of the Manor House was excellent, right in the heart of the village. Lovely warm atmosphere and plenty of rooms for you to eat, relax or read in with log fires. Excellent food, served and delivered well. Would definitely recommend to others and we have booked a further stay.

The spaciousness of the bar and library and warm friendliness of the staff. Gorgeous fires and delicious cream tea. Breakfast was very good too. Although the room was lovely and clean and comfortable it was quite small and despite the website claiming that most rooms have a view over the garden or high street, our room did not. The photos suggested that the hotel was set back from the road in it's own grounds but I realise now that this is photographed from the back.

The ambience and food. Service was excellent and the locally sourced food was fantastic. The sausages at breakfast were superb. A comfy chair in the bedroom would have been nice along with free wi-fi

The food was supreme. The service was 5-star while being unobtrusive. Nothing was too much trouble and my party of 8 was made very comfortable. My beautiful main course was served on a very shallow oblong dish and the heavy knife and fork fell off every time I put them down!

A beautifully appointed step back in time with modern luxury and very good staff at all levels. No free Wi-Fi and I was unable to connect to paid Wi-Fi on my iPhone which was a significant inconvenience.

“A lovely, comfortable, individual hotel in a beautiful, peaceful Cotswold village. The perfect place to explore the Cotswolds from after a very good English breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the beds as good as promised. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.” John, Chudleigh, Newton Abbot |
