Score from 11 reviews Very good
Amazingly cheerful, helpful and energetic staff. Charmingly renovated old building. Attractive common areas and beautiful gardens. Comfortable, well-appointed (but small) rooms. Great restaurants.
Noise at night from main road.
Tea Orange Juice (Freshly Squeezed) Marmalade
Had the Full English breakfast but without the Egg or Black Pudding, sadly nothing was offered to compensate... which given only one rasher of bacon & single sausage... not exactly hearty. However two servings of toast but the sadly the bread wasn't up to the same standard as the other produce.
Atmosphere, comfort in public areas not overcrowded and relaxing in the garden, food options were good value for money. Excellent base for visiting The Cotswolds, Broadway 11 miles, Stow on the Wold less than 10 miles. Stratford upon Avon within easy reach.
Great location, excellent atmosphere, overall brilliant!
Nothing not to like!
Beautiful gardens, perfect location to explore the Cotswolds, very polite and accommodating staff.
everything was perfect food location staff
having to book out
Excellent facilities and food
So many weddings - necessary for survival nowadays
Friendly helpful staff, high quality beds, good food and pleasant gardens.
The cramped en suite facilities
Very warm welcome and friendly staff in all areas. Excellent food and comfy bed.
Had a front facing room and Traffic noise from heavy trucks kept me awake at night. Also poorly lit stairways with lovely but dark tartan carpet made it difficult to see where stairs ended and I sometimes missed a step almost falling occasionally
We enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Staying in the cottage with a hot tub in its own totally private courtyard garden proved to be a fun new after dinner experience for a couple of oldies.
The ambience. The amazing breakfast. The rooms. Everything
Being located in the centre of Moreton. Décor of the hotel. Chose a room with a four-poster bed, well worth the extra money paid. Very attentive staff. Excellent food.
The rooms. Excellent restaurants. Wonderful sevice.
Lovely building, staff very friendly, food excellent.
An unexpected problem with builders overlooking room. Very quickly and politely changed rooms for us. Staff absolutely lovely. A wonderful stay, can't wait to return. Beautiful rooms and garden.
No complaints what so ever.
The history of the place. The very comfy bed. The teddy bear.
Having to only stay 1 night.
Everything about the hotel was excellent. The gardens were beautiful, restaurant excellent.
Room was a little small.
The huge room, and bath products, the location, the history, the charm Also, delicious dinner.
We were fortunate to get an excellent room in the traditional part of the hotel. Very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast excellent.
There was a light bulb burnt out in our room and a chipped tea cup, which despite our request were not seen to. Our steak dinner in the Brasserie was a disaster, with char grilled meat completely charred at the first attempt and just about acceptable at the second
the Scotch pancakes were excellent; waitstaff was very attentive and helpful. Nice touch to have such nice chairs in our room.
Stairs need to be better lighted and tubs need more handles to use while getting in and out.
Good location, excellent staff, cute room. Food was delicious. We has a great weekend.
The look and feel of the place. Old but updated. Good food in the restaurant
Room was too hot.
Sensational in every way.Staff amazing, location amazing, Just a perfect experience, and so needed.Food perfect, wine incredible .
Tiny negative..too much technology that we couldn't work. We only wanted BBC 1 , couldnt find it and then TV gave up all together. The wonderful bar staff phoned us to see if we wanted a drink and we couldn't even answer the phone it was so technical. Not a problem in any way but best you know than not.
Staff very pleasant and willing to help Library and bar area very nice Gardens and outside area very pleasant and well kept Lovely large comfortable bed
Cold plates for breakfast Lack of choice of breads Sausage quality poor Lighting on stairs dim,and dark patterned stair carpet which did not help for safety.
Very nice B&B.
