A very comfortable hotel in a pleasant, quiet location. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the room was large and the facilities were above average for a guest house. Certainly a better option than many of the hotels in this priice bracket in Glasgow. |

The hotel staff were very welcoming and the hotel had a family atmosphere. A good place to stay if you are on a budget and want to go into the city centre - nearby bus. Some areas in need of a bit of refurbishent |

Warmth demonstrated by the staff & the care & attention given was exemplary. The scottish breakfast was indeed very well laid out & wholesome. Angus & Cathy were someone to remember for a long time. Having confirmed availabilty of room on ground floor, going back to suggest that it was NOT available during the checking-in was disappointing especially having indicated that I have serious back problem in my mails earlier. This is not a complaint please. |

Very friendly welcome, large comfortable room at the top of the house and an en-suite with plumbing that worked. On-street parking is easy, and location is very convenient for the City and the SECC. Sleeping under sheets and blankets........took me back about thirty years! Bed linen was clean but very tired; sheet had a hole in it! 21st century duvets would be a considerable improvement. Reviews had been very positive about breakfast, but the 'Full Scottish' breakfast was a disappointment, it was not well cooked.....hard fried egg for example. |

The fact that the staff were helpful and efficient without being too '' In your face.'' It was difficult for the taxi driver to find and he had to phone the hotel in the end. When I got there I would have loved a drink and a sandwich but it wasn't available. |

Very friendly staff and excellent value for money with breakfast included in the cost of the room. Easy access to local bus services. Pity it is located 2.5 miles from the city centre but no complaints about the hotel. |
