Skylight window was leaking on to bed. A lot of noise. Dog do all over steps on entrance to property.
Was very dissapointed with place.
Conventially located, reference for breakfast, value for money. The place was lovely and warm
It was near to the hospital and the cheapest.
When we arrived we saw the man, paid him & never saw him again so we could'nt complain to his face & ask for our money back. There was a damp smell as soon as you walked in the hallway. We were in room no. 5. The toilet was ok. The bathroom was the smelliest which stank of damp. The shower was too small, even my sister who is a size 8 had trouble showering. They should take the old fashion wardrobe thing & the dressing table out & put in a double shower/bath which would be better & get rid of the smell. We used Febreeze on our clothes all the time but our clothes still stank. The bedding was clean but there were other peoples hairs inside the pillow & cobwebs everywhere in the bedroom. If you were in bed you can't watch the tv as you could'nt see what was on. We had to keep getting out of bed to move it about to try & see the picture as it was black from the bed, as its not positioned properly. In the end we had to sit at the bottom of the bed to watch tv & sustain stiff necks.
Stayed here after the arsenal v swansea game, the owner was flexible and allowed me to check in at 7.30pm, also allowed me to check out early, 5 minutes from the train station, plenty of shops around, subway, costcutter etc were only 2 mins walk away, tv was small but had plenty of channels, toilet was fine, plenty of towels etc, tea and biscuits too, perfect for the night.
Had a weird smell in the room, need options for food on site.
Best thing about it is the location and of course the price, the room is comfortable although a bit cold.
There is no WiFi in this place although when booked they mentioned that exists.
We didn't know what we would find when we booked this room, but it turns out that the hotel was an old and warm building run by a nice gentleman who live calmly there. The room was quiet small but nice enough for a couple of days. It was clearly clean and taken care of even if you can see that the building has had a long life.
You have to be careful of the road where you park your car. We had the surprise to find out we parked it for too long in front of the hotel. The shower was surprisingly next to the bed, even if it was cleverly hidden.
-Close to bus station -Cheap
-room and bed linen was not very clean -toilet stank - humid
The hotel is located close to many restaurants, shopping the beach and the city center.
The Room was very tiny The WiFi was not working fluently, that was really annoying, even because we had to book a flight. The Bathroom was located behind two doors. It looked like a cupboard. It was not lovely to go to the toilet in the "cupboard" because we could not close the doors complete...
Comfortable, clean. Ideal for an evening out in Swansea. Close to the city centre. I would recommend.
Clean and tidy rooms, good location within 5 mins of the centre. Staff were great and very helpful.
No parking during the day which wasnt ideal. Could of done with something as the room was very cold.
Very helpful owner. Comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. Tea, coffee, biscuits, Wi-Fi and TV in the room.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed, quiet accommodation.
Poor wifi, kept cutting out weak wifi signal and slow connection.
Good size room bed made every day
Toilet was a maserator type that was noisy to flush at night
Staff was helpful and nice when available Location was pretty central
The shower could not regulate temperature
Very difficult to locate on a very busy, noisy and filthy road leading into town centre. There is no parking, double yellow outside, and unable to find any parking on the side streets. No lobby area and very old bed sit type interior with strong smell all along the stairs on two floors. My room was very small in the roof with a small sky-light window which I had to keep open whole night to get rid of bad air. Street was full of noise at night and difficult to sleep. My wife did not want to stay a night... but we could do nothing having booked a room not knowing the place..so we just slept away the night. worrying about safety of my car and needed to move before 8.00am. NOT GOOD !!
Clean bedding. Quiet.
Badly needs a new coat of paint in the bedroom. Needs other cosmetic work also.
Facilities in room wasn't good. TV was very small & not in good place. Internet was very slow & can't use it at night. They provided only 1 towel for 3 days. They should have given clean towel everyday. Kettle inside wasn't clean properly, it was a very old kettle. I would just say, they need to work on their service, so they can receive more customers.
Excellent price for a bed for the night, in central Swansea. Although no breakfast was on offer, did receive a 20% discount ticket for breakfast at the nearby Wetherspoons.
Décor "tired" to put it politely. Parking on the road was only free from 6pm until 8 am and even then, took some careful parking to get into a vacant space. The nearby NCP multi-storey was expensive.
The decor was very tired. The room was an obvious amalgamation of other rooms. Although the total floor space could make for excellent space the current layout makes the room very cramped with nowhere to properly sit.
Closeness to centre of town
The room had an unusual smell and the sink in the toilet was cracked.
Very Clean Accommodating staff Good price Location is good (although issue with road noise)
It needs a renovation as is looking quite old fashioned and tatty in places. It would also be nice to have more pillows, as the two we were provided with were very flat and made sleeping difficult. Road noise at night was an issue, although I am aware this is not the owners fault - perhaps charge less for front of house rooms. Although great to have access to free wifi, it cut out often and had a very weak signal.
filthy dirty hallway and stairs with awful smell . so bad we never ventured up. no parking although it was advertised. left and went to travelodge for £5 more.
The location was great
The smell when we went through the main door was off putting and we both were bitten by bed bugs
The wifi worked
The room was tiny, dirty and the bed was extremely uncomfy
